Great item!!!!!!!! So cute!!!!!!!!!!!

Strengths:

Cool colors!!!!!!!!! It really fits my Ipod Mini well and I can fit my earphones in it.

Weaknesses:

A little expensive, strictly for storage.

Posted Nov 20, 2005 - This is a great item. I have been keeping my Ipod Mini in my armband case. I was so excited when I saw these socks. They are so cute and they protect the Ipod at the same time. The ipod fits in tightly, will not fall out. Great buy!!!!!!

I bought these pretty soon after they came out and ...

Strengths:

Very good looking. Colors to match most Ipods available, except Gold. Decent quality. Coolness factor.

Weaknesses:

Might wear out with time. Not sold separately. Not the cheapest sock ever.

Posted May 13, 2005 - I bought these pretty soon after they came out and have been using it since to protect my Ipod when it's not in use. It is a good-looking product and matches well (I use the grey sock for my silver Ipod mini). It seems to protect against scratching when I have it in my bag, but I don't know how well it will protect it if dropped. It's not a hard case so it's definitely not the maximum protection one can get. The biggest drawback is that I had to buy six socks when I really only wanted one or two (I also kept orange, GO GIANTS!). My solution was to sell the remaining four socks on Ebay and I was fortunate to get at least $5.00 back on average to cover my original costs. I don't expect one could profit per sock on Ebay with these though. Another concern is wear and tear. Since it is a material product versus solid item, I would expect fraying and normal wear to be a factor. So far, mine's in good shape. I do try to be careful when placing the Ipod in the sock though, so as not to stretch out teh elastic on top like a regular sock for your feet. I recommend this product for those wanting a good looking accessory to match and store your Ipod Mini. I do not recommend it for people needed hardcore protection from impacts.

nice ipod cover

Strengths:

covers all ipod models, high-quality, looks very good

Weaknesses:

pricey, have to take out of socks to change controls

Posted Oct 22, 2005 - these apple ipos socks looks very good with any ipod except shuffle. they protect from scratches and covers ipod very well. price is little high at $29 but it's apple brand and well made- product. i would recommend to anyone.

iPod Socks

Strengths:

Fits iPod Touch and iPod Classic (80GB) great! Looks like a sweater for the iPod.

Weaknesses:

Leaves some sort of streaks on the screen of iPod Touch.

Posted Nov 16, 2007 - The iPod socks work as advertised. They are basic protection for the iPod to keep scratches off of it. On my iPod Touch, the texture of the sock leaves streaks on the screen of the iPod... these wipe off, however, so no damage is done, it is just a bit annoying to have to wipe off the screen when the iPod was just in its case. I found a great deal on Pricegrabber for these and got them for $11.50 (they sell for $29 at the Apple Store so this was a great deal).

Pretty trendy cases

Strengths:

Will be recognized, seem pretty durable,

Weaknesses:

Price per sock (shouldn't be more then $3), sold in packs (not everyone is going to like every color... but dang it they are going to pay for it).

Posted Nov 3, 2006 - This socks are pretty slick. They fit my 4th and 5th gen iPods just fine. I unfortunately don't have a nano to test it out with, however apples pages states that it will work fine with the nano. They are pretty soft... so I'm not all that worried about them scratching the face of the iPod. One thing I haven't been able to do is see how they stand up in the washer machine. being that they are cloth cases (not plastic), their cleanings will probably need to be more frequent. I'm not that far into it though. I will for sure update later though.

Love at 1st sight...=)

Strengths:

Cute, colorful and soft...great design!

Weaknesses:

A bit expensive for socks

Posted May 11, 2006 - I seen this in Apple store and I love it instantly. I bought this for my wife's iPod nano because the original supplied case is very tight and looks dull. Now, with 6 colorful iPod socks, my wife can choose 1 that matches her clothes when she wear her iPod nano using the lanyard. Besides, the socks material is soft and stretchy, so it fit the iPod nano perfectly. =)

I LOVE these!!!!

Strengths:

Come in many different colors, stretchy (so it fits all ipods), offers moderate cushioning.

Weaknesses:

Soft, so iPod can still get crushed if stepped on.

Posted Mar 3, 2006 - Overall I really like these socks. I use the different colors to match with what I'm wearing. I also keep my Ipod in a clear hard case which I then put into my sock. It's a good way to keep the headphones together with the ipod and I'm not worried if I drop anything.
