I picked up one of these, as I was tired of my other flip up DVD player, as it was hard to vehicle mount, and the volume was low. This player easily mounts to the back of the headrests, and is easy to use. The volume is decent, (not great bass) especially with both screens cranked up. Plays well with headphones.
I really like the fact that the movie starts where it stopped when the power is turned on.
I was surprised it could play a 4.7GB DVD+RW full of MP3 music, which means I can put tons of music on for long trips, or Audio books.
I had a DVD+R which failed to write, and was corrupt. My home player could not play it, but this little player played fine until it hit the corrupt section.
Seems not to skip on bumpy roads.
The screens are reasonable for the price.
Its really a great deal.
I have not used it long enough for reliability, but its well put together compared to others I have looked at.

TopStrengths: Easy to install; works with either dc or ac adapter
Weakness: completely stopped working after one year and 3 months; just outside of one year warranty.
My two kids used this for movies, but mostly for music cds and now it has completely stopped working. Worked great for first year, now nothing. Probably won't be worth the money to fix it either. Bought it for the RCA brand name, a no name might be better deal.

Not very happy with the RCA DRC629 Dual Screen DVD...
Strengths: Easy to mount, easy to use,
Weakness: Dual Layer DVD's/Movies won't play.
Plays well unless you play a newer dual layer movie such as Bridge to Terabithia or Apocalypto, etc. Check the back of the movie case, at the bottom of the rear of the case it will tell you if it is in dual layer format. If it is, it most likely won't play. If you can get it to play then it will chop a lot and pause for many lengthy periods, up to and over a minute or more, very frustrating. I think all of these lower priced DVD players have this problem.
