ABLOUNGE 2

Strengths:

Works as advertised, great instrcutional CD.

Weaknesses:

Not as easy to stow away as it may seam.

Posted Jan 2, 2007 - Got it as a holiday present to my self after months of procrastinating. This machine works great. It does not put any strain in your back yet gives you a decent mid section workout. You may, however, have to do a few more reps in order to get the same results as doing crunches the conventional way. But who cares when there is no back pain. Strongly recommended.

Strengths:

It is very easy to use. The chair supports your head and back and makes the crunches more comfortable.

Weaknesses:

The instructions were horrible! Don't even look at them - just look at the picture and put it together. It took over an hour to put together.

Posted Feb 23, 2005 - All in all, I really like this machine. The routines that come with it are pretty easy, and I have found that it is easy to just sit in front of the TV and do some crunches on this machine. I would recommend it to anyone.

AB Lounge 2

Strengths:

Its confortable and not hard to use. The CD was nice and workout directions are easy to follow for a couch potato.

Weaknesses:

Directions to put it together were unclear. Had to throw them away and look at the box before I could figure out how to set it up.

Posted Aug 23, 2005 - It is confortable to sit in and work out. I am looking forward to seeing what this exercise machine can do for a flabby belly. Prices vary, but I brought mine for $99 at K-Mart.

Weaknesses:

Over all the lounge chair is somewhat too long for a short person. I think it should have an adjustable foot bar to make it easier to do the crunches.

May not be sturdy enough for larger person

Posted Mar 24, 2005 - If the exercises are done properly this is a great workout. There is no doubt that the ab lounge, along with a healthy diet, will decrease waist size! I have also noticed that the prices are dropping. Check Wal-mart and K-mart for the best deals.

Fitness Quest Ab Lounger 2

Strengths:

Easy to use, and it does not hurt your back to use. It works all the stomach muscles as well as the midriff.

Weaknesses:

It is not easily collapsable. It must be left up. Which isn't a bad thing. I will remember to use it!!!

Posted Dec 26, 2005 - I like the ab lounger 2. I needed to use exercise equipment because I have a bad back, but most exercises hurt my back. The ab lounger 2 is easy for anyone to use. I have every confidence that it will do me worlds of good.

Great Product!

Strengths:

It's sturdy. I bought it today, assembled it, and did my workout and it was awesome. It does target your abs like nothing out there will ever do.

Weaknesses:

You cannot fold it to stow it away

Posted Oct 30, 2007 - Contrary to some reviews here, it does not take a course in Rocket Science to assemble the Ab Lounge. I followed the instructions (people, for crying out loud, all you have to do is R-E-A-D!), and it took me about an hour or so. Again, if you read the instructions, you will be able to do it. I did it and I am no genius, believe you me. Another thing: I read a review from a guy who weighs 500 pounds complaining that it had broken on him. Again: people, please use your brains and read - it clearly says the weight limit is 250 pounds. And no, I do not work for Fitness Quest or Ab Lounge: I work at a bank. If properly done, this little thing will target your abs. Mine are hurting like crazy now, which is a very good sign.

Ab Lounger

Strengths:

Very easy to put together, directions were clear, and very easy to use and was nice when they included a dvd.

Weaknesses:

Machine is not collapsible. Make sure you have room to store it.

Strengths:

Good for bad back, easy to use

Weaknesses:

Does not fold up for easy storage

Posted Nov 25, 2007 - I have had this item for a few days and I am satisfied with my purchase. It is sturdy and well put together. I think people who have bad backs and do not like doing sit-ups or crunches on the floor would prefer this item. It does not fully fold up so it will take up some space.

Simple and easy to use equipment

Strengths:

Easy to set Up, cost effective

Weaknesses:

Takes a lot of space to store.

Posted Nov 25, 2007 - i got it for a cheap price. Even though the instruction seems to be complex for the assembly, it was easy. You dont expect heavy work outs with this. Yo can have light exercises including stretches for the back and abdomen. They include a basic DVD for the instructions. Overall worth for the money.

Great Ab Workout

Makes Exersise fun and easy

Posted May 19, 2007 - I just got this about a week ago and I can already feel the results. It's unlike doing regular situps as it allows you to just work on the abs without killing the rest of your body in the process. This is a great product!!!
