2 Mackenzie personalized rolling backpacks, purchased and sent to grandma's for Christmas 2008. After 30 days use, 3 straps broken; one shoulder and two clip straps. Next, bottom shoulder straps fray beyond being able to adjust. Within 90 days, top strap broken too. Living in Japan, we only get to the US 2x a year; we brought them into PBK in W Htfd CT in July and spoke with Kamala,rigid, "strict 30 day return policy". I asked to phone CS, who gladly agreed to exchange, and we gave a shipping address, filled out pink forms. When the OLD bags arrived at grandmas, we phoned to find Kamala had called back and convinced CS that our problems were "normal wear and tear". Case closed, they said. No one likes you to go over their head, especially in front of them, but PBK should at least see pictures of these bags. My girls are 5 & 9; they haven't been sliding down hills on them or anything. they just fell apart. pls improve for later customers. |
