Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: Very Stable, Inexepensive

Weakness: None

Antec is probably the most famous brand name for PC cases and power supplies. This PSU was one of the best power supply units I have ever bought. SL350 has an additional intake fan installed on the side. Good buy!

Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: Voltages stay solid, pretty quiet

Weakness: Seems to get hot even if put under very little load.

I bought this on a whim because it was cheap and antec have a good reputation. I tested the psu with a dmm and the voltage lines were solid. However I did notice that even under minimal load there was warm air coming from the psu even when it wasn't enclosed in a case which probably means it isn't too efficient. If you're going to install this in standard fashion you should definately have good airflow in the case.

Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: Reliability, ability to handle overclocked PCs, level of noise

Weakness: None so far

You can never go wrong with the reliable brand of Antec. I have purchased and used dozons of Antec PSUs over the past decade and they have never let me down. The SL350 is very quiet in operation.

Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: Very quite and very stable. What else can I say?

Weakness: none

Powers an nForce Ultra 400 MB, a 2600+ CPU, two HDs, two DVDRWs, 1G PC3200 DDR memory and a 9550 Video card like a charm. Antec is the way to go!

Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: Pretty quiet. Two fans, and backed by Antec's great reputation of making stable products, Id buy this again if it was necessary. Purchased with a $25 rebate too; great product / price.

Weakness: none

One thing to keep in mind about this power supply is the intake fan. In my PC case, the intake fan is pointing towards the top of the case, and there is no hole there to suck in fresh air, so this fan really isnt grabbing any cool air.

Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: Great product. Very well constructed and easy to install. Runs very quietly and looks impressive like one of the best. I really like the 2 fan feature.

Weakness: I don't see any weaknesses with this item. Overall it looks and works great for me.

I am very happy with pricegrabber, Chief Value and Antec. I think I will be pleased with this power supply for a long time to come and I will reccomend it to others. Also I want to say that pricegrabber does a super job of obtaining the best products from the best companies at the best prices. Chief Value does an excellent job of customer contact and providing all needed information right away. Shipping was super fast.

Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: high quality name-brand PSU, very quiet, 3 year warranty

Weakness: none observed

Antec is one of the most easily recognized name brands when it comes to power supplies. The quality is immediately apparent. The fans (2) are speed variable so the RPMs increase at higher temperatures. This aids cooling and keeps the Power Supply quieter if the demand isn't as heavy.

Antec's 3 year parts and labor warranty guarantees that this PSU will last for years to come and I highly recommend it.

Antec 350W Power Supply

Strengths: Reliable, solid 12V line

Antec has always made quality PSU's, and this one is no exception. This PS has been rock solid powering my Athlon 64, Radeon x800, 1GB RAM system.

The 12V line is the most important one for modern PSUs, since high powered CPUs and video cards draw their power from it. The Antec has a beefy 22W on the 12V line, as much as many 400W PSUs from other makers. As a result, this power supply is more than capable of powering todays high power computers.

Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: affordable and powerful

Weakness: a little loud

Purchase my first Antec power supply after my generic power supply gave up on me, found out it was rated for 180W... No overclocking so hopefully this will last me at least 5 years :)

Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: Silent as advertised. Very Solid.

come with one 80mm and one 92mm, both are running at a slower speed at normal conditions to keep the mechanical noise lower. All components are housed in a heavy duty case. It's really a quality product!

Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: Quiet clean power. Has no issues running my system with 2x 200GB IDE drives, 2 optical drives, 6 panaflo 80mm fans, and a 6800GT. Plenty of connections for all my stuff, and for my fans as well.

Weakness: This PSU has no weaknesses to speak of. Unless you are running an extreme system, it should provide plenty of power.

I wish I would have bought 3 or 4 of these instead of just one, for upcoming system builds.. It is a standard PSU, fit right into my case, and is very quiet. Also, pseems to put out less heat than the power supply it was replacing.

Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: 2 fans, good power

Weakness: fans are a little too loud; only 20-pin power

I am very pleased with it so far. It is powering A8V-E, AMD Athlon 3200+, DVD burner, 2 160GB HDs, and 6600GT video.
For $40 - $20 rebate? This is the best! I just hope I can get my rebate from Fry's.

Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: Stable and affordable

Weakness: Its dual-fan design makes this power supply a bit noiser than single-fan PSU.

Ii is a decent unit for the money. It deliver solid performance and good value. Voltage outputs are stable and within specification. It is highly recommended for standard systems that doesn't have very high-end gears.

Antec 350 watt power supply

Strengths: High quality, good reputation and warranty. Very quiet operation.

Weakness: Lack of sleeving seems to be an oversight for an otherwise excellent product.

Performance seems to be the emphasis for this model, instead of style. Comparing the looks to a recently purchased Thermaltake TR2 430 watt, is like comparing a Chevy to a Mercedes. However, comparing the features, you get 80 to 90% of the capability for less than half the price. Savings more than make up for having to tie down your connector cables yourself. If I could only figure out how to quiet down my CPU fan, I wouldn't hear the computer at all. Seven IDE power connectors, two SATA, and two floppies (who still uses floppies) provide plenty of hookups for all your drives. After further testing the IDE capability using a Maxtor IDE controller, an NEC 2500a, and three hard drives of 40gb, 80gb and 120gb maxed out the power supply. TR2 easily takes 2 80gb and 4 120gb.

An interesting issue is the side fan. The TR2 has the intake fan on the end, but the heat combines with the CPU heat, causing real problems with a Prescott CPU I have in another computer. I also have an old case which has reversed screw holes which will install the SL350 fan-side up. So if you are replacing a P/S with no CPU intake fan, check to make sure case is compatible before ordering.

Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: Very reliable and stable. 3 Year Warranty.

Weakness: Price! No special fan connectors.

When my power supply burned out a few yrs ago, I replaced it with an Antec. This time, after upgrading my other computer, I didn't want to take a chance with the cheapo power supply anymore, so I bought this Antec to replace it. Antecs are known for their reliability and steady stable power, and they back it up with their 3 year warranty. They're also quieter than generic ones.

The only bad part about this particular model is it doesn't come with the special fan-only connectors that other Antecs come with. Those are really cool because they control your case fans based on the temperature, so they really help quiet down your system. But this one is good enough! And it has 2 fans in it, so it works great.

Overall, a definite recommendation!

Replaced the old power supply perfectly, Very quiet compared with my old no name power supply. I am running 3 hard drives, a dvd writer and a cd writer. Voltages are rock solid. Antec = quality.

Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: very quiet, dual fans, great reputation

Weakness: no fan only connectors, wires are not sleeved and very messy

This is a great power supply. Noticed a difference the minute i powered it up. Strong amps and very quiet. Definately what i was looking for in a power supply. Plus with the rebates and the great reputation of antec, you can't go wrong with this power supply. I would recommend this power supply if your looking for quietness and a brand name u can trust.

Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: cheap, good brand, excellent quality for the price

Weakness: none

I got this for $17.50 (after rebate) from outpost and can't complain at all for that price. Great value! I have been using an Antec 380w power supply for over a year with no problems, so I figured I would pick up one of these since it was so cheap.

Antec 350 Watt ATX Power Supply

Strengths: Quiet, 2 SATA connectors

Weakness: none so far

I have always purchased Antec because PS are not what you want to mess around with. This was an excellent deal because Antec had a rebate when purchased from NewEgg. Anyway I hooked it to my Shuttle XPC SN41G2. I can't actually install it inside the SN41G2 but it was the easiest computer to test the PS with. It worked great. All the voltages within spec. Also it is even quieter than the the Antec PS that came in my Antec SX830 case. I was pleasantly surprised that it comes with 2 SATA connectors because I have been holding out buying those types of drives because I didn't have a PS that supported them. Now I do. Now I just need another case and motherboard :-)
