I ordered a Panasonic DMC TZ5 camera @ $179. The next morning I received a phone call asking if I really wanted the Japanese (all manuals and menus) version. The English version is available for $120 more. I cancelled the order. NOTE--The description of the camera and the price shown nowhere say that this is a non-English version. In my opinion this is classic bait-and-switch! |

My husband orderd this TV for me. Since the shipping address is different from my billing address, I need to call the customer service to verify the order; however, the customer representative was very rude and impatient. Therefore, I cancle my order immediately. |

Rude customer service. Found out FOUR days after i placed the order that the camera wasn't in stock. But their website said "in stock." Now I dont have a camera for my party thanks to this online company. I will NEVER order from them again. |

I TALKED TO SOMEONE TO TELL THEM MY SHIPPING ADDRESS AND NO ONE SAID A THING ABOUT BEING OUT OF STOCK. ON THE WEB PAGES THEY ALL SAY IN STOCK. ON MY ORDER HISTORY IT SAYS ON BACK ORDER. TO ME THAT MEANS OUT OF STOCK. WHEN I CALLED TO ASK ABOUT IT THEY ASKED MY ORDER NO. AND NAME THEN TRANSFERRED ME TO A ANSWERING SERVICE. I PLACED MY ORDER ON 10/04/08 AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT YET. THEY EMAILED ME AFTER THEY RECEIVED MY EVALUATION FROM YOU AND APOLOGIZED FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. THEY SAID THIS ONLY HAPPENS ON RARE OCCASIONS, WHEN THE WEBSITE OVERSELLS AND/OR ITEM BECOMES UNAVAILABLE FROM MANUFACTURE. I CHECKED THEIR WEBSITE AND THEY STILL SAY "IN STOCK", BUT DO NOT HAVE ANY. I CANCELED MY ORDER AND ORDERED FROM ANTHER WEBSITE WITH NO PROBLEMS. |

Horrible. Please dont ever buy from them. They try to upsell you things, they try to tell you the battery lasts only 20 min on a camera (please read specs from manufacturer)and one review I read said the battery that came with it was not the original manufacturers battery. I said I didnt appreciate them telling me the battery lasts only 20 mi when I was looking at the maufacturer specs and they said the battery lasts for 300 picts. Then he said this camera requires a $149 special high preformance memory card. I was then mad and told him I had just read in the specs from panasonic that itakes a regular SD card. I was so mad. Then mysteriously they were out of stock of my item and I cancelled my order. |

The prices are false, you required to call after order on line,so they tell you-wee are out of stalk and the item is a foreign model--and in stalk only models with american warranty which cost more, a lot more. End if u agree to it, than u wait forever on your 3 day delivery. They surly fool Me. I didn't got the order and looking for alternative. |

We received the camera and were missing the disks necessary to down load and have tried since we received the camera to get them and to date haven't gotten them and the last correspondence with them said we wouldn't receive them. POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, I wouldn't recommend buying from them. |

I canceled my order after I was asked to call them prior to shipping. Once I called I was informed the camera's battery would only last 20min and that I needed to purchase another battery and charger? this would have brought my total from $700 something to over $1000 dollars. When I called Sony about the battery, they said "all of their kits had batteries and chargers". I felt like this was a good attempt at a bait and switch that did not work! I will NEVER purchase anything from this company on-line and I will tell everyone to be cautious! |

My LCD TV says it's in stock but really it's on back order. I called and they said it would be two weeks. I don't belive them! I will belive it when they give me a tracking number! |

Bad customer service and misrepresentation of sales. A200 camera has not been in stock since order placed even though customer service and web site states that the camera is in stock. PrestigeCamera provided delivery dates that were continuously not met. Real lack of interest when ever you are lucky to get hold of customer service. |

Bait and Switch operation. They will email you to confirm your order and then pressure sell you with a whole bunch of upgrades. If you refuse the upgrades or ask to cancel the order they become very rude and then hang up on you. I cancelled my order and then called back to complain to a supervisor. After reading all the complaints on pricegrabber I'm not sure if my complaint to the supervisor will even do any good. Stay away from this vendor. Very dishonest business practices. |

This company has no intention of selling you the product for the listed price. They will call and try to up sell you, if you refuse they will e-mail and tell you your item is not available at this time even though on the websitr it says "in stock". save yourself the grief. Avoid Prestige Camera! |

I ordered a Sony Cybershot DSC-T200(Silver) on Oct 2nd for $190. I got an email on same day that I needed to call them to confirm the order. When I called them to confirm the order - the sales man told me the item is coming to me. I got the other email from them on Oct 2nd late afternoon that the item is currently unavailable, and I need to call them about it. After I called them, the sales staff are non professional manner, and very rude, and put me on hold for 10 minutes, just to tell me the item is not in stock. I even ask them that I would buy a higher model version Sony T300, but she also told me is not in stock.... Unfortunately I did not initially do my Price grabber homework and placed an order from them. Please beware of the con company - don't buy from them. |

After ordering the barebone camera on the internal, I receive a call from the company trying to sell me some additional accessories. Salesman lied about the contents of the standard package, said that battery and 1 year warranty was not included, only a limited 3 month warranty. Later researched their website, and it turns out both battery and a 1 year warranty comes standard! Also, after researching the website, the package I was recommended actually costs more than when buying the accessories individually. When I received the shipment, they didn't include a 2GB SD card as promised, but only a 1GB card, and some of the other accessories promised were also downgraded. Finally, when I called this company to return everything, they told me there was a $100 restocking fee. On the sales form, they only said "minimum 5%", which you would expect to be close to 5%, but in reality it turns out to be 20%, which is not acceptable. I would strongly recommend to stay away from this |

I was tring to buy a projector. After the order, on line, I received an email stating that they needed to verify my billing information. I made the call and the information was verified. I was informed that the projector did not come with a bulb and becuse I did not know they would sell me one for an additional $200. This is crazy, so I cancelled my order. |

I am sorry to say that this is a very dishonest business. They advertise an attractive price for an item, and then when you call to confirm the order they state that there are needed accessories like batteries. If you decline to accept the needed accessories they then state that the product is not available and is on backorder for some length of time. Sounds like a bait and switch to me and I am very displeased that the sales folks are this dishonest. They should not be caried on Pricegrabber with such underhanded business practices. |

The camera was not as depicted on the website. After I ordered, I received a phone call and was told that my camera had a battery that would only last 20 minutes and could only be recharged via the USB port on my computer. They suggested I buy the "American" model instead of the "Asian" model I had ordered. Of course the American model was much more money than the model ordered on the website. I cancelled the order. |

Complete bait and switch. Ordered the item online, which showed the item complete with the stand. Then emailed you to call and confirm your order, which was basically an upsell attempt. They claimed the TV set did not come with a footed stand, and you had to buy it for an additional $79. When I asked why they pictured it that way, they said, "Oh the manufacturer sends us the photos." Agent got extremely rude with me and hung up the phone when he figured out I didn't want to spend $79 for the stand. Nowhere did they ever state you needed to buy something else to make it work! RIPOFF!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Prestige Camera is devious/dishonest with the free shipping advertising. During the verification order phone call I was informed of the 7% surcharge added to the order for so-called insurance and handling. One of the reasons I chose this merchant was because of the free shipping, which is not free at all and hidden in the excessive surcharge. |

This company is a rip off. Customer service sent me a camera bag that I did not ask for, and charged me for it. They also included extra fees with my order, that were not presented to me at the time my order was placed. |
