Absolutely the worst. From the second they answer the phone they are arrogant and condescending. I was told on Tue that the GPS was in stock and would ship overnight. On Wed I received an email that I had to call to "confirm shipping info" and that's when the bait and switch began. I was brow beaten and insulted when I didn't want the overpriced warranty and accessories. As of Monday there still wasn't a tracking number and was told I couldn't cancel the order. So Tuesday I go on my trip without the GPS I desparately needed which is why I ordered it overnight a week prior If there are any good reviews here it has to be because they beat up on someone to buy the pork or their staff wrote them themselves. Be warned !!!!!!!! |

Before purchasing the Nikon D50 camera, I called Prestige to ask if this was a gray market camera. I was told that it was not and, based upon that information, I placed the order for the camera. No documentation received from Prestige Camera indicated that it was a gray market camera. The camera now needs repair and Nikon has told me that the camera is indeed gray market and they will not make the needed repairs to the camera. Customer service at Prestige Camera did not keep record of my 30 month old transaction. They first stated that I should have known the camera was gray market when I could not register it with Nikon. They further stated that Nikon was probably just trying to get out of making the repair (even though Nikon will be charging me over $200.00 for the repair). The handling of this transaction was less than professional and even dishonest. I purchased this camera with misleading information and I received absolutely no help when I ask for correction of the problem. |

They added insurance charges which were not explained during the online transaction. They did not notify me about unavailability of the product. I am traveling without any possibility of having my camera because they will not refund my money immediately and will not deliver the product. Horrible customer service, horrible experience, stay away from this guys! Do an extended review online and you will see many other customers as unsatisfied as I am. |

Poorest customer service I have ever encountered. No return calls, they have had a new camera in for repairs for 3 months ..as far as I can see they have lost the camera and I'm out 700 bucks |

Excellent service and speedy delivering. The reason I gave just "average" points for tax & shipping charges/explanation of shipping is because this item was shipped to Canada and when checking out, the only shipping option I could pick was UPS. After calling to confirm my order, I found out that shipping will cost $30 more to be sent to Canada because it would need to be sent using Canada Express. Well, in the end it was shipped through FedEx, but the delivery was quick. Overall, it was a positive experience dealing with Prestige Camera. The great price makes up for any little issues mentioned. |

I easily ordered the Sony DSLR A-350 online with promises of no shipping charges. Then PrestigeCamera.com wanted a phone verification of the order. That's when the nightmare began. Suddenly, I'm railroaded into paying postal insurance I know I don't need since the business and the postal service would be responsible for any damage caused in the mail (nearly $30), railroaded into a "superior" battery ($65 -- as if the NPFM500H isn't good enough), and ultimately railroaded into their "package" (another $10) which ends up totally $105 more than their original price. So I go back to their site, and sure enough, they don't say that the camera comes with the standard NPFM500H battery, which suggests they actually change out the battery if the customer doesn't "up" the battery. Needless to say, I cancelled my order. I refuse to do business with such unethical people. |

They called me after my order to confirm I did place it and instructed me as to when it would arrive and what to look for/inspect upon arrival. They also gave me a "sale" deal that I was not aware of that saved me $300.00. I love this place - so far. I saw the same TV on sale at a local "Big Box Store" a week after purchasing this one, and even after purchasing the upgraded warranty and the shipping charges the big box store sale price was $200 more, just for the TV w/standard warranty. |

Shipping was EXTREMELY slow. I would get a run-a-round every time I would call for information regarding the order. There website states that all of their items are "new", yet the Garmin Nuvi I purchased was a refurbished unit (verfied refurb with Garmin customer support). Avoid this company. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. |

Ordered a Panasonic Plazma TV, TH58PZ800U from Prestige Camera. Excellant price and reasonable delivery date, less than 3 weeks. Two guys brought it into the house, unboxed it, and sat it on the table. Well pleased with the experience and TV. Would like quicker phone access to personnel. |

I placed an order on 12/31/08 and was told the item was in stock I got an e-mail several days later asking me to contact them. I called and they tried to sell me some accesories to go with my camera, I declined. Today 1/11/09 I still don't have my order, I called and was told it was on back order and expected in in two weeks or so (This was after being transfered a total of 5 times and an 11 minute wait time). I thought that this was very poor customer service and would not reccomend ordering from this company. The communication between the employees and customers is very poor |

Item (LCD TV) was shown as 'IN STOCK" when order was placed online. Prestige called me to confirm the order within 48 hours (great!)... but no mention was made of the TV being out of stock. No online status is available. When I called after 11 days, I was told they are out of stock and don't expect any for 2-3 weeks, and I am welcome to wait (no apology). Their website still shows the item as 'available'... at a higher price than I paid. I hope I'm wrong, but I was given no confidence that I will eventually get this TV from this merchant. UPDATE: I eventually cancelled this order.I called twice, and each time, the 'backorder' time increased. When they said 6-8 weeks, I cancelled. When I questioned why the item was still shown as available on their website at a higher price, they became rude and elusive. I would not do business with these people again. |

I think their product descriptions and sales practces are deceptive. I placed an order for a Canon FS10 ( Mfg number 2686B001 ) , they require me to call them to confirm and when I did they told me that the camera did not include a battery , which is needed to make it work. I looked on line at Canon.com and they indicated that 2686B001 does have battery included. When I called Prestige back , they indicated that they sell a wholesale version and not a retail version, that is why no battery is included. I cancelled the order. |

Spoke with Brian x776 about my price (even though I knew that I had been suckered) who was very unpleasant. I told him how unhappy I was with the price that I ended up paying, he told me that I was not forced to buy from them (which I realized). He would not listen to me, he kept talking. He also told me that I was cursing at him and being disrespectful (I wasn’t but how would he know since he did not stop talking). Once I got a word in I told him that I had listened to him patiently and asked him not to interrupt me while I spoke, this lasted for about 20 seconds before he started talking again. Not once was “the customer is always right” considered. He finally offered to let me ship the camera back for a $90 restocking fee - which he later agreed to pass on so that he would not have an unsatisfied customer. I told him it was too late, not only was I unsatisfied with his customer service but if I shipped the camera back I would have to go out and buy another one |

Product was purchased at an excellent price, but there were hidden handleing and insurance fees .... they claimed since i got free shipping they had to add them. Beware of "free shipping", you will be surprised. |

Bait and Switch. Do NOT order from this company. I'm reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau. This company advertised a low price online for an item. Then they sent me an email saying they need to confirm my order details. When I called them they tried to up-sell me many things at a very high price that I did not want to buy. When I told them that I only wanted the item that I ordered, that they said was "In Stock" they told me the price on line was for a "Wholesale Package" that would take 6 - 8 weeks to deliver. When I told the person on the phone that I was going to report them to the Better Business Bureau, he laughed. |

I ordered a camcorder, then received an email 2 days later to call them and verify some information. The phone number they gave was busy for a very long time. Once a finally got through to them, they verified my information, proceeded to try to sell me a whole bunch of other stuff I didn't want, and then asked if I wanted to upgrade to the American version of the product, or stick with the JAPANESE one where all the menus are in JAPANESE. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?!? I immediately cancelled my order. I thought I was getting a great Holiday deal, yeah right! Plus, I missed out on a decent sale of this product elsewhere. NEVER AGAIN!!! |

My order was confirmed, I've called several times, they hang up, place you to someone else, give you excuses, etc. I called as a new customer about the same product and they stated there was no delay in shipments. When I call about it as a customer, the delay keeps getting pushed back. Very bad service relationship. I cancelled the order. |

I was charged a $22.00 "Processing Fee" that was never shown in my shopping cart, nor in the e-mail they sent me to say that my order had been processed. I did receive a phone call that gave me the total, but when I asked about the extra, he stated that the "processing fee" was clearly stated on both the website and in the e-mail that I received, which was not true. I firmly believe that this company is using deceptive practices by advertising "free shipping" during holiday periods, then charging this "processing fee" with the knowledge that most people will just pay it and never get around to disputing it. I gave the store the opportunity to refund my $22.00 by emailing them my complaint, but I never heard back from them. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. |

If you are ordering from this site, do not fall for a "package deal." I ordered a camera for $158. The salesman suckered me into getting a package with a battery and memory card. The package total was $279. I priced the battery & memory card on the internet and I felt I was truly being ripped-off. I called and wanted to return the battery & memory card and was told I could not do that, the entire order had to be returned. So I guess I learned a lesson the hard way, Buyer BEWARE! |

Prestige was very very slow to ship. It's impossible to get through to "Customer Service" by phone. They won't respond to e-mails or faxes. Eventually, I gave up and had to order from another dealer. |
