Do not sponsor this store! Deal on the internet was to good to be true and it wasn't. I was told to call to verify billing info, only to abused by some smartass employee who said I could not have the tv unless I bought the cables and the stand, all off which were extremely expensive. After I refused I received an email stating that my order was on hold due to out of stock and that the company was not going to fill the order, even though I had a contract. The FBI has been notified. Distance yourself from these criminals. |

I was stunned that these kinds of "bait and switch" guys are still out there. Has great price on LCD TV - came to $1500 with shipping online. Got call today that the warranty is only 90 days (manufacturer's is 1yr in home but not valid for this - grey market maybe) and will need $149/yr for in home coverage (along with the expected upsell for accessories). Also $349 for insurance on the truck shipping (interstate common carriers are insured with trucking fee - $199 on website). Now at 2 grand. Canceled the order, will wait to se if they charge my card. Was too fishy for me - I may live out in the sticks now, but was born and raised in Brooklyn - these "gonifs" made me embarrassed for my fellow Jews. BE VERY WARY OF THE "EXTRAS" THAT COME WITH THE "GREAT" PRICE! Even on a small item, ask yourself twice if it's worth the few dollar to deal with these guys. |

Warning!!! Prestige Camera is not all it's cracked up to be... After ordering a LCD TV from them,I recieved an email asking me to contact them to verify my order.Once I did this,they told me that the TV's base does not come with the TV,and that it was an extra $139>ARE YOU SERIOUS?!! Of course the manufacturer ships the base with the TV!!Just to make sure,I did some research,and contacted the manufacturer and other online dealers that said that it is included;you can't even find the stand sold individually anyplace else....So is Prestige Camera any cheaper than any other place as avertised?NO!,not after you have to buy all of the parts,that are originally sent with the product. PRESTIGE CAMERA sux!!! and are SCAMMERS!! They lost a $500+ order,just because they advertised a lower price and did not want to include the tv stand that comes with the tv... IDIOTS!!!! Read other reviews here that are just like this one....STAY AWAY!!! |

I placed an order for a camera. When I called to "confirm" my shipping address, which is actually an opportunity for Prestige to try and sell customers an "upgraded" battery, I was told the camera would be shipped immediately. It seems that because I did not purchase the extra battery, the camera was suddenly out-of-stock and backordered, I did not discover this until an email later in the day. The low advertised price at Prestige seems to be a come-on to get customers to purchase additional items or "upgrade" the item they are interested in purchasing. Prestige also has interminablewait times when you attempt to call customer service. I would never place an order with this company again. |

My husband and I contacted them several times regarding our order. The Customer Service was poor each time. They were extremely rude and would not let us get a word in edge wise, therefore, not allowing us to ask the questions we were concerned about. They were also very pushy trying to sell other products to us as well!!! Very frustrating!!!! |

I placed an order for a Canon digital camera and after placing the order on-line I had to call them back the next day to check on the order.After talking to a rep he said that he was going to process the order and then a little time later I received an e-mail stating that the item was on back order.I then called them back and spoke with the same rep at extension 241 and he told me that the unit I bought was a Japanese version of the camera and they were out of stock overseas.He then tried to sell me the English version of the camera which was $100 more. I told him that it did not say that it was a Japanese version on the website and that they were trying to pull some type of bait and switch on me and he got a smart attitude with me.While talking to him I got on the website and told him to tell me where it said it was a Japanese version and he said that there must be a problem with the website and he would tell someone about it.I then told him to cancel my order.THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! |

Do not buy from www.PrestigeCamera.com, They have the worst customer service and extremely rude sales team. They don't have a real inventory and yet they show all the items in-stock. If you are planning to purchase a gift for a loved one spend the extra dollar and buy from other reputable retailers. |

Classic bait-and-switch website. Beware, "in stock" means that you will have to purchase a ridiculously high priced (in my case 40% higher) "package" to obtain the item that you want. I ordered a GPS (Garmin 765t) at what seemed to be a terrific price. I then received an email that stated that I would have to call their customer service to complete my order. After calling that number I was told by a "customer service rep" that I would need to purchase an updated map, and a cord adapter in order to complete the order at a price of $120!!! these items are already included in the retail package. After refusing to purchase the additional items I received an email stating that the item was now unavailable even though their website still lists is as in-stock!! |

I went to buy a samsung tv. So I put in my order and gave my information, so them I recive a call saying that I have to confirm my order. But "confirm" means tell you that you have to buy the stand that the tv should come with and a waranty that already comes from samsung. And that it also makes your purchase jump from 1508.00 to 1788.00. All I wanted was to pay what they told me I would pay when I checked out. Never would I try to buy from this company. |

SCAM -- FRAUD -- STAY AWAY .. save your money and time .. they post products on their web site with great prices but then they call you and tell you that these come with no warranty (the web site says 1-yr warranty is included) and non-english menus .. so you need to buy some US-version that is $100 or more OVERPRICED and all that extra stuff (batteries, SD cards, etc) .. otherwise they do not ship anything. What EVER you see on their web site in terms of prices is just deceiving .. AVOID this retailer |

They give you a low ball price, then send and e-mail to confirm order. Had to call back 6 times waited on phone over 10 minutes each time hearing how important your call is. Nobody ever answers. When I finally got thru he said the model was for a European technolgy and it would cost a additional $100.00 for US Tech. As far as I'M concered they are crooks. |

After placing an order for a Garmin 755T, I received an email to call them. After three hours of a busy signal they told me that the "new in the box" unit had 2007 maps and I could purchase one with 2009 maps for $50 more. I told them to ship me the older one and they emailed me that they were out of stock. MISREPRESENTATION on the website which does not tell you this. BAIT & SWITCH do not use this website!!! |

Placed the order and sure enough got the "need to verify" email requesting a callback. Called back and person at extension 273 says the product does not have a US warranty. Says its an import. Pointed out that pretty much every camera is an import. Cancelled the order but just completely unethical business practice. |

DO NOT EVER PURCHASE FROM PRESTIGE CAMERA! I ordered a Sony camcorder and was ready to order a second one. They sent an email stating that my order had been received so I thought all was fine and previous reviews might have been wrong. But NOT SO. After 3 days they sent another email asking that I call the billing office to verify information. The salesman tried to upsell me extra accessories. When I told him that I just wanted the camera, he said did I know that this camera was a Japanese version and everything was written in that language. If I wanted the U.S. version, I had to pay an additional $50. I cancelled the order and he rudely hung up. I've never had this happen before and this really makes me wary of ordering further on the internet. |

I did alot of research for this TV, a Sharp LC-52D85U, Prestigecamera.co had the best price $1405 plus shipping that came to $1604 total. So I purchased it on line, and later that day I received a email from Prestige to call and verify billing address and shipping, then they tried to sell me other things I did not need, even the base for the TV for $150, which I called Sharp about it after I cancelled the order, and they told me that the base for the TV was included, as he read from page six of the manuel. The worst shopping experience! I have been shopping online for a long time, and the first time I tried their website, they actually sold me an item that was out of stock, and at the order page it said very clear that the item was on stock. I cancelled the order. Then I tried them again; poor decision. I ordered a camera and then I receive an e-mail to call them. So I call and this guy starts offering me a lot of stuff, to later on tell me that I ordered a japanese camera. Everything on the camera would be written in japanese, and if I wanted the american I would have to pay $100 more. I told him to cancel my order because nothing of that was written on the description on the website. After that, he was so rude to me, he hung up on my face. Never will deal with them again. Be aware! Check Better Business Bureau!!! They have a bad reputation! |

I found them on www.everyprice.com. Their price was the cheapest on the site. They make you call them before shipping. They lie and say that the plastic base for the lcd TV does not come with the tv. They charge an additional $145. You have to argue with them to get the price down to a normal price. They do not show a picture of the item and they do not sent a break down of the order. They sent me a tracking number only which only had the free lcd cleaner. I thought it was the tv. I received the tv 3 days later after arguing with them to send me the correct tracking number. Not worth the time. Left feeling beaten up. |

This merchant called me 24 hours after my online order, enticing me to order add-ons, and telling me that my handling and insurance fees had increased by $200. The "customer service rep" went so far as to tell me that it wasn't his fault if I "hadn't finished high school and couldn't do the math", when I realized that the initial order was $200 higher than the amount I had authorized to be charged to my card. He claimed that "insurance and handling is subject to change" and "good luck finding it cheaper online". I wouldn't buy a product from this company if it was the only place on Earth to get it from. Beware of this scam! |

This company is bad to deal with. They have poor customer service. They do not know the products they are selling. They will try to sell you an international version instead of a US version of a product. we got multiple stories about the product and product features. I am suprised a company like this is actually in business. |

Bait and switch. Ordered a Toshiba 40RV525U 40" LCD. Had to call to verify the ship to address and after being on hold for 20 minutes, and after saying no to everything from HDMI cables to an extended warranty to a mount to this to that to this to that I was told that the model I ordered was the "foreign" model - manual not in English, remote control not in English, no warranty, no stand, no nothing. I could have the "US" model for $150 more. I cancelled the order. The jerk on the phone said, "Fine, if that's the way you want to be." Don't bother with these people, just bunch of crooks that should be out of business. WHY DOES PRICE GRABBER ALLOW THEM TO SELL HERE????? |

After placing the order on-line, you have to call their sales department, which tries to sell you grossly over-priced accessories, which I declined to purchase. The sales rep said that the item was in-stock and that it would be shipped to me by day's end. Instead, I received an email message stating that the item was not in-stock, that my order was not going to be filled. The site is a rip off. |
