I purchased a Pioneer car stereo & iPod cable from Perstige Camera.com on 11/17/08. The person on the phone was very polite and helpful. The Pioneer unit showed up actually a day before I had expected, but the iPod cable was not to be found. I called Prestige Stereo and once again was helped by a very polite person who looked into my order history and explained that the iPod cable was back ordered and that I should receive it within another week. Five days later it arrived. Despite all the negative reviews on this site about Prestige Camera, my experience with them has been really wonderful to date. I am about to order a Canon XSi camera and lens kit from them as they, once again, appear to have the best prices and also that my last experience with them has been excellent. I hope it continues to be so. For now I must say that I highly recommend them! Overall Rating

Ordered a Panasonic Plazma TV, TH58PZ800U from Prestige Camera. Excellant price and reasonable delivery date, less than 3 weeks. They called me after my order to confirm I did place it and instructed me as to when it would arrive and what to look for/inspect upon arrival. They also gave me a "sale" deal that I was not aware of that saved me $300.00. I love this place - so far. I saw the same TV on sale at a local "Big Box Store" a week after purchasing this one, and even after purchasing the upgraded warranty and the shipping charges the big box store sale price was $200 more, just for the TV w/standard warranty. I ordered a TV and found out that it did not come with a swivel stand so I called and they wanted to sell me one for an additional $130.00. It would of been better if they mentioned the missing swivel stand more clearly on their web site. Also they wanted to sell me addtional warranty. I decided to cancel my order and the person was rude and hung up on me. I bought the same TV from another web site. No big deal. Just FYI. Overall Rating

Excellent service and speedy delivering. The reason I gave just "average" points for tax & shipping charges/explanation of shipping is because this item was shipped to Canada and when checking out, the only shipping option I could pick was UPS. After calling to confirm my order, I found out that shipping will cost $30 more to be sent to Canada because it would need to be sent using Canada Express. Well, in the end it was shipped through FedEx, but the delivery was quick. Overall, it was a positive experience dealing with Prestige Camera. The great price makes up for any little issues mentioned. Overall Rating

When I placed this order the item showed as being in stock and would ship imediately. Later that day I received a call to confirm my order and was pressured to purchase other items that I did not want. I had requested the item to ship Fed-X 2day so that it would be here in time for a present before leaving on vacation for a week and half. It did not arrive on the day expected and when I called I was told it had not arrived in the warehouse yet. We left on vacation without the present!!!!!! Overall Rating

This merchant uses misleading item descriptions in their ads. When placing an order, they then call you to "Verify" your order and use deceptive information to "Upsale". I ordered a camera and the salesman called to tell me that I ordered the Japanese language edition which it said nothing of in the description. He then had me upgrade to the english version for more $ and a full warranty. Overall Rating

Prestige Camera is devious/dishonest with the free shipping advertising. During the verification order phone call I was informed of the 7% surcharge added to the order for so-called insurance and handling. One of the reasons I chose this merchant was because of the free shipping, which is not free at all and hidden in the excessive surcharge. Overall Rating

Buyer Beware, this website marks down prices to hook you to place and order. ID. Sony KDL-52XBR6. for $2.265.00. then when you call after placing your order they try to hike the price up. Like telling you the LCDTv does not come with a Pedistal, it's extra. I flat cancelled the order rather than deal with unfair business Ethics and False Advertising. when this happens to you report it to your credit cared company. BuyerBeware... Overall Rating

I did not like how after I placed my order online, they want you to call their 800 number to verify. Then they proceed to tell you that you'll need to add other items to your list if you want the product to work correctly. I ended up canceling the whole order. I just felt it was underhanded. They should list in the description the accessories that you will "need". You can get a better deal on an auction site! Overall Rating

I found them on www.everyprice.com. Their price was the cheapest on the site. They make you call them before shipping. They lie and say that the plastic base for the lcd TV does not come with the tv. They charge an additional $145. You have to argue with them to get the price down to a normal price. They do not show a picture of the item and they do not sent a break down of the order. They sent me a tracking number only which only had the free lcd cleaner. I thought it was the tv. I received the tv 3 days later after arguing with them to send me the correct tracking number. Not worth the time. Left feeling beaten up. Overall Rating

I did alot of research for this TV, a Sharp LC-52D85U, Prestigecamera.co had the best price $1405 plus shipping that came to $1604 total. So I purchased it on line, and later that day I received a email from Prestige to call and verify billing address and shipping, then they tried to sell me other things I did not need, even the base for the TV for $150, which I called Sharp about it after I cancelled the order, and they told me that the base for the TV was included, as he read from page six of the manuel. These guys are CROOKS! I have made two big ticket purchases here, and both times I did not receive an itemized receipt. It wasn't an issue the first time around, however, this most recent order included additional expensively priced non-OEM l accessories, one of which was an AC adapter for a Nikon D300 that didn't fit. What I received was a universal multi-voltage adapter with numerous plug tips. None of which fit the Nikon body. I ended up buying a Nikon branded adapter for $10 cheaper off Amazon.com which arrived in 3 days. The Online offeringsI asked if the camera body and lens were gray market or USA, the guy said USA bodies were an additional $300. Like a dolt, I paid even though $1300 for an "USA import that Nikon will accept for repair if needed" is on par to other wholesaler prices and much less than $1800 local retail. After all accessories and extended warrantees, I paid retail anyways. I will not shop here again. Overall Rating

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS!Same as everyone else. Place the order, they send you a BS email saying that you have to call to verify billing information. When you call they don't even ask you about billing info, they just go striaght in to the hard sell of overpriced accessories. Unfortunately, it wasn't until this point that the alarm went off in my head. I started researching the company and found review after review just like my experice up to this point, and my future looked bleak. So I called and cancelled my order immediately. Despite 3 requests by email, I have been unable to get written verification of the order being cancelled. I'm watching my credit card account closely. I also went on to the Better Business Bureau's website and found that Prestige Camera is the same company as Broadway Photo, and that Broadway Photo had 361 complaints filed against them in the past 12 months, 186 of which were still unresolved. I ordered a Blu-ray player for my wife for Christmas and I gave Prestige my cell phone number as the contact. Today my wife receives a phone call from Prestige to inform her that the Blu-ray had shipped. I had the player sent to my office rather than my home (so my wife would not find out about her Christmas present), but Prestige proceeded to lookup my home phone number rather than use the number I had provided on the account. Evidently they looked up my phone number based on the billing address of my credit card, which is of course going to be my home rather than my address. The customer service person was very short with his answers, and said that there is no way Prestige would have done that. Well, I must have imagined my wife just calling me to tell me that Prestige had just called her with information about a Blu-ray. Regardless of the less expensive prices at Prestige, I will NEVER AGAIN order anything from this vendor. Customer NO Service is pathetic. Overall Rating

My 2nd order from Prestige. Guess I'll learn soon. Ordered camera 12/1, finally received email to call them to confirm my order(?) on 12/5. Waited on the phone about 5 min. listening to bad music, then finally spoke with someone to confirm that I did order the camera. Later that day, received email that order was processed. Next day, received email that item was out of stock. I COULD HAVE HAD MY CAMERA FROM 5 OTHER PLACES BY NOW! NEVER AGAIN will I order from here. Same thing happened early last year with a laptop. Again, slow to learn, but no more from Prestige Camera! Overall Rating

Item (LCD TV) was shown as 'IN STOCK" when order was placed online. Prestige called me to confirm the order within 48 hours (great!)... but no mention was made of the TV being out of stock. No online status is available. When I called after 11 days, I was told they are out of stock and don't expect any for 2-3 weeks, and I am welcome to wait (no apology). Their website still shows the item as 'available'... at a higher price than I paid. I hope I'm wrong, but I was given no confidence that I will eventually get this TV from this merchant. UPDATE: I eventually cancelled this order.I called twice, and each time, the 'backorder' time increased. When they said 6-8 weeks, I cancelled. When I questioned why the item was still shown as available on their website at a higher price, they became rude and elusive. I would not do business with these people again. Overall Rating
