Kingston 512MB DDR SDRAM Memory Module

Strengths: Reliability and affordability.

Weakness: Benchmarked speed performed only at a DDR PC2100 rate. (Benchmarking Software: SiSoft Sandra 2004)

Not to take anything from the product, but if you want to get the fastest speed for a PC3200 RAM, you might want to turn your attention to OCz and Corsair; otherwise, if balance between cost and performance plays a strong consideration, Kingston's Value RAM would be the way to go.

Strengths: Fantastic product with great overclocking ability.

Weakness: NONE AT ALL!

I have this Kingston 512MB PC3200 DDR DIMM overclocked to 433 mhz and have had no problems at all. This is the second one of these memory chips I own and they work flawlessly together. I highly recommend this memory--Kingston customer service is excellent as well. I had a question about the appropriate memory for my new motherboard (Intel D874PBZ) and they looked it up in their database and gave me the appropriate model number. Kingston memory, and this piece more specifically, are an excellent buy!

Weakness: none that I know of

Great RAM, it went in easy and I've experienced no problems so far. It is an excellent buy for the money. Can't really say too much about RAM though, I've yet to ever have any brand act up on me!

Strengths: No conflicts with my shuttle an35n ultra motherboard. Easy installation and great performance.

Weakness: Not as fast as non value dimms.

This ram has worked flawlessly so far with my new computer rig. Shuttle AN35N Ultra motherboard, Radeon 9600, AMD 2.6 Ghz. Barton. Great price for the non-overclocker. I am very pleased with this RAM so far and am planning on buying another stick.

Strengths: Speeds up graphics and renderings.

Weakness: None

Anyone running graphic programs such as CAD or any type of rendering programs needs additional memory. Kingston is known for their quality products and there was no problem installing two 512MB memory chips. System booted up and immediately recognized correct memory. Up and running in 10 minutes. Would recommend this product highly to anyone needing additional memory for their PC.

Excellent Product. Performs as expected. High quality backed by well know company. Life time warranty. No worries. Easy to install and works great on my asus motherboard. I'd recommend using Kingston all the time.

High quality, reliable, fast, memory from a well known company. Backed up by a lifetime manufacture warranty. Pre-tested, well packaged, with 10 step safe installation procedure instructions. Easy to install, works great, as expected. All this at a very good price, what more could you ask for?

Strengths: easy instalation.. runs good, never any memory problem. i am a gamer and wc3 is proble the most high tec game i play and i have no problems running a 5200 ultra w/ it. i recomind it.

Weakness: i cant find a weakness of it

i am a gamer who also builds and sells computers and this is a very good ram card. kingston is one of my favorite companys along w/ corsair and crucial, and i find nuthin rong w/ this one.

Strengths: Easy to install. Fast, good warranty

I am very pleased with the performance of the 512 MB PC3200 DDR DIMM memory. It has enabled my computer to run about twice as fast as my previous setup. I have it installed on a DFI NF11 Ultra Infinity motherboard with an Athlon XP 2800+ Processor, which is now running at least twice as fast as my P4 1.4GH computer.

Strengths: Works well and is reasonably priced

I have been using the memory for a week and haven't had any problems with it. I run it along side a stick of Crucial 2700 RAM so i'm not getting the full speed out of it, but the two work together with zero problems. I'd recommend this product.

Weakness: A little bit of Speed

For what you need (just regular computing) this is suffice for everyday use. But I planned on to do some overclocking and this ram might be the bottleneck for my computer. Overall though, this is great ram for the value.

Strengths: value for the money. great name in the memory field. all my friends talk highly of KINGSTON MEMORY.

i bought all my componets from price grabber.from case atx mid tower 420 watt and msi fx5200 video card from WINLAND CORP they were great.kingston memory, assus 865 motherboard,intel 2.8 pentium 4,western digital harddrive, plextor 8x dvd+r/rw, all came from FUTURE POWER PC NO PROBLEMS.

Strengths: Very Fast & works with nearly all system boards in the market

Weakness: Nothing at all

As Kingston has the #1 reputation for quality & reliability for memory modules, it is still true until now. This Super fast memory with 400Mhz of speed is still #1 on the market as it is very known and more compatibility with system boards on the market today. You don't have to worry with quality because they are confident they give lifetime warranty on their memory modules.

The Best RAM out today!!

Strengths: Awesome performance with heatsinks, great for overclocking running either PC3500 or PC3600. No lags, and great for games and applications of all types.

Weakness: Well.........hmmm......The only weakness would be if they stop making them or didn't exist.

This RAM is AWESOME and it packs a great punch to your system!! I've benchmarked resulting Memory Read is about 2,400-2,600MB per second. I'm running 1GB (2x 512MB DDR400) on my MSI-KT6V-LSR Board running an AMD Athlon XP +2800 overclocked at 2.26GHZ and it flies like an eagle. I definitely recommend this RAM anyday or anywhere. Bag the rest!! Kingston rules!!

Strengths: Unknown. Memory bad upon installation.

Weakness: Reliability (in my experience)

I bought Kingston because it is supposed to be reliable.

The RAM I received was bad from the start. Upon installation I immediately began receiving memory-related errors and constant crashes. Hardware RAM tests pointed to bad memory. I replaced the RAM and the problems disappeared.

It seems most people find it reliable, but based on my experience I'll never order Kingston again.

Great ram and service from zip-zoom-fly was great too

Strengths: Great ram, works for 333 and 400 MHZ. No problem of compatibility. 184-pin slot fits easy.

Weakness: none so far

Anyone looking for a cheap and quality 512MB ram, should get it.Installation was easy. Works fine with my dell dimension 2400 pc which had 2 slots for ram. Each slot takes max 512MB. So, I put it easily.
