It is a great all in one! It works as a copier, printer, and a photo printer. When you use it to copy, it is PC free whihc is really cool! The price is less than $100. So over all, it is very good!

TopStrengths - Easy to operate scanner
Weaknesses - Does not function properly, must restart computer after ink replacement or printer won't work. To change ink must go through computer to do so, button on printer does not move carriage over.
Overall I'd say this printer is a complete waste of money. It's not the first time I've been disappointed with an epson, I swear I'll never ever buy another epson again. Garbage.

I bought this printer free after rebate with purchase a camera. It's a great printer. Very fast speed and the color is good. Its scan function works very well. and copy and print speed is terrific. I like this very much. Although it doesn't have fax feature, for that price, I could not ask that much, I guess.

TopStrengths: Fast printing, Quality Copying. Seperate ink tanks for individual colors. Can even print pictures on photo sheets.
Weakness: No contrast control for copying feature, so weak in copying faint writings. However, this is typical for multi-function copier in this price range.
I bought this printer when my old Canon S520's printhead finally broke down and one of my two red nozzles were stuck. I tried to replace the printhead only to find that the cheapest one on eBay cost me $60. Instead, I bought this CX4200 which had similar price and had a great copying feature as well. The performance so far is awesome. While both products used 4 colors, this EPSON model can even print good photos on photo papers - a trick that my old Canon could not do.

TopStrengths: all in one, cheap cartridges

I purchased this printer to replace an aging printer and seperate (equally aging) scanner. I am impressed up to this point, setup was extremely simple and the basic printing functions produce good-quality documents with no detectable problems.
My only real frustration so far is the lack of documentation on setup and orientation for glossy 4X6 printing, I had to waste about 4 sheets in order to get the settings correct.
The "Arcsoft Photoimpression 5" software is next to useless, it made horrible prints. Stick with whatever picture software you normally use, I printed directly from Windows XP and it looked fantastic in comparison.
I have scanned some papers as well, and I like the software-based auto-detection, it saves me quite a bit of time when I an scanning multiple pages.
All in all I would say getting a decent quality printer with card readers (SD/XD/SM,CF) and pictbridge support for this kind of price really is a good deal. We generally are light users and don't require a great deal of "finesse" from our printer, so I would say if you are a light-duty user and looking for a decent budget multifunction unit, this could be a good fit.

I've been using this printer for 1 month. I like this printer a lot. Really easy to setup and I have never had a problem. The printing quality is just so-so, but I do nto use this for pictures. I would be nice to have faxing functionality, but cannot complain for the price I paid.

TopStrengths: Works well and quickly. Separate ink cartriges for easier replacement and price for replacements is great.
Weakness: A bit of a bulky printer, hard to fit in a computer desk. Setup takes a while.
Overall this is a very nice printer that I got for a great deal on Toshiba.com. I like the fact that it has separate little cartriges to replace since I usually don't use the color cartriges a lot. I hope the black lasts a while as it is small. Replacement of the cartriges is easy (and they're quite reasonable), as is the function buttons which are self-explanatory. The only thing I don't like about this is that it is a bit bulky. I also have an HP printer with comparable features that is much more sleek and fits anywhere. This one is larger, heavier, and has the annoying paper sticking out of the top so that it is hard to fit into the printer cubby in my computer desk. Setup for it takes a bit of time, but once it is installed, it's really easy to use. All buttons are self explanatory, and printing is easy from the computer. Draft quality on this is, again, not as nice as my HP, but regular quality is fine and fairly quick as well. I have yet to try the picture print, but Epson included 10 free sheets of photo paper and I think that's very nice. Though I still prefer my HP, overall, I'd recommend this printer, especially if you can get a good deal on it.

This small printer features a flatbed scanner together with a color inkjet printer, which makes it perfect if you are using it in a small/home business or home office environment. The black ink tank used in the printer is the cheap type, so you don't have to spend a lot buying new ink tanks.

Weakness: * Sometimes slow with color-intensive documents * Color matching is sometimes odd * Epson software (scanning and photo editing) is bulky and not very useful
This all in one is wonderful for the price. The ability to copy in both color and black and white easily and quickly has been amazing. Image quality is quite good, though the printer sometimes seems very slow when printing something with many images. If you need a good all around unit that does everything (except faxing) and you don't want to spend a lot, this is for you.

Weakness: sometimes it makes so much noise.
It's better than the other All-in-ones on the market. Also the price is realy low because of the bundle rebate. I think it is the best all-in-one printer I would like to recommend.

I purchased this printer to replace my old print scan copy machine. This printer prints much faster than my old printer and produces good quality prints. Installation did not give me much trouble.
Even though it is bulkier than my HP PSC 1210, I still prefer it for its performance and print quality.
Would recommend it if you get it for less than $90.

Used this All-in-one printer for over one week, I am pretty satisfied with the functions and printe quality. The print outs are clear and the photo prints are vivid and bright. Very good for lighte user, cause the printer speed is not very fast, if you print the photos a lot, you need wait a while.

All-in-one is really a good idea for the printers. It can save more space on your desk. This affordable cx4200 is not that big, and the printing quality is good enough for normal use. The ink cost is not too high compared with HP printers. The printing speed is slow if there are many images, maybe it is because the memory of the printer is not large.
Anyway, this is an good all-in-one below $100, and it really deserves.

I got this particular printer in a bundle deal when I bought a laptop from CompUSA. I've had it for almost 2 months now and have nothing but good things to say about it. It is an awesome printer. It was very easy to set up. It prints fast. The prints are beautiful in quality. I can't say enough great things about this wonderful printer. I sure couldn't beat the price either. I would highly recommend this printer.

I like Epson's printer and all-in-ones. I have used several of them (CX3810, R200, CX4200). They are all pretty nice. Comparing with CX3810, CX4200 prints a little faster and allows you to print directly from a camera. This is very convenient for just print one or two photos, since you don't need to turn on the computer. However, this is one does not have a fax function (well, I guess this is the norm for today's all-in-one). Overall, CX4200 is a good small all-in-one and will be enough for a personal daily use.

Weakness: They should've added Fax also to this printer and some of the picture prints didn't come out sharp.
I've been using this printer for nearly 2 months now and I just love it. It was really easy to setup and no issues so far. I found some quality issues with the pictures but I really am not into taking picture print-outs at home and prefer it on-line. I wish it had fax also but since I got it for free, so no complaints. :)

The Epson printer combines a printer and scanner in one machine, which takes up less space than two individual machines and leads to less clutter on your desk. Individual ink cartridges ensure that no ink goes to waste. I do wish that companies would make their ink more affordable to users. The cost of them really add up over time.

Weakness: ink runs out pretty quickly, which is quite understandable due to the small ink tanks. doesnt come with usb cable.
i had no problem using this all-in-one printer so far. fast performance for good quality. the biggest problem i had was to find the right usb cable to connect the printer to the pc. installation generally is pretty easy. printing, copying, and scanning are also easy to do. great printer for a reasonably low price.

The resolution is very high. However, if there is document Feeder, Network Ready and Card Slots, the printer will be a excellent on. For common use, I like all-in-one printer, it is very convenient.

I have used Brother CN5440 All in one. Big problem with that All in one is unless you replace the color of ink that runs out, you can't print.
I have bought this Epson CX4200 with my Canon Camera purchase. I don't know problem I described in Brother is going to be repeated here not. Till now I like it. Borderless printing, USB 2.0 connectivity, energy star compliance, All in one feature, Quality are amazing.
However I miss Fax capability, Missing document feeder and Network readiness.
But hey, no complains, I didn't wanted to buy the printer. Because of Camera, Memory, Printer combo deal, I bought it and its great for that deal.

Weakness: So-so quality of the parts of the machine. The photo result is not aligned well.
This is a general family machine for you to print, copy and scan at home. Not for a intensive usage.
When I open the box, one of the part is not fixed. Although I finally fix it, this is a very bad experience.
The software is not very helpful for printing photoes. Comparing with the Canon photo printer ip3000 I have used, this machine has relatively lower quality.

Great deal! 0$ after rebates! Turns out that's all it's been worth.Right out of the box it wouldn't scan/copy but printed fine. Replacement unit after 3 mo. stopped printing but scans fine. Wasted almost the cost of the unit on new ink I didn't need. Epson knows this is a dog machine because they replace it with few questions (which is good) and don't even want the defective unit sent back. How can they possibly know how to prevent problems if they don't check out broken machines?? But, since the ink costs as much as the printer, we know where the profit lies.....

Weakness: print cartridge design
Epson has decided to program this printer so that if one colour cartridge( there are 4 ) runs out, it will not print, even in black & white. When these manufacturer's decide to design minuscule size cartridges, at exorbitant prices, these simply become throw away printers, filling up and contaminating landfill sites.
I will not purchase another Epson product.

Good Bang for the Buck
Strengths: Compact, does the job, cheap
Weakness: Have to open the cover to scan each time.
It's better than the other ones on the market for the price because there are more rebates for it than the others. Otherwise, it seems to be the same as the others for the day-to-day user.
