Samsung ML-2571N Laserjet Printer

Great Home Printer

Strengths: Fast Printer, Networking, Inexpensive

Summary: I have used Samsung printers for several years, they are built like tanks.

So when it came time to buy a networked based printer, I decided to buy a Samsung. The world of laser printers has changed a lot since I last bought my printer, but based on my past experiences I was certain that Samsung's less expensive network printer would meet my needs.

The setup was really easy, all I had to do was to plug it into my router and install the printer driver on all my computers and I was up and running in about 20 minutes. The printer is very fast and quick and the papers straight not curled like some other printers. so far the only issue that I have encountered is that when I am VPN into the office I cannot print any documents to my Samsung. I believe that its due to networking issues caused by the VPN software.

I know that the toner for this printer is a bit expensive, it will be worth it if this printer can last as long as my previous printer (which still works).

Great printer for the price.

Strengths: Print speed and connection possibilities. High resolution

Weaknesses: Loud noise during operation.

Summary: This is a great printer. The resolution is superb. The print speed is more than adequate for any home use. It also has a network connection port. The 1200 x 1200 DPI is tops among other printers in this price range. It is compact when not loaded with paper. The paper tray extends out of the front 4 inches when filled. The downside is the noise when printing. The printer quickly enters standby and goes quiet. I would recommend this printer for any home office or the user who needs superb b/w printing.

Great So far!!

Strengths: Very easy to set up, both MAC an PC

Weaknesses: A little noisy compaired to an ink jet.

Summary: Very easy to set up, for MAC users as always it was a snap. I have mine hooked up to a home network, straight into the router. Set up time was just a few seconds, just a little longer for the PC. Prints fast and clear. If you are looking for an inexpensive laser printer this is for you!

ML-2571N Laserjet Printer

Strengths: Fast speed

Weaknesses: Big noise

Summary: (Edited February 26th by cindy0586) This is our second Samsung printer. Compare to our first Samsung ML1740 Laser Printer: The weakness are: The noise surprise us a lot when we first use it and RAM is not expandable. The Strengths are: This printer does not required long warm up time compare to ML1740 and the printing speed is fast. There is no paper curled problem like ML1740. We are happy to make this purchase
