Strengths: Good text printing speed & quality - fast first page! Easy to use alternate paper feed. Excellent fax sending. Prints from both Windows and Mac.
Weakness: Flaky fax reception - It will not recieve faxes some faxes. It does not respond to about of third of the attempted incoming faxes in automatic mode. Manual receive doesn't do much better.
I've had this machine now for over a month and am very happy with its performance save the fax reception. Very reliable printing & coping. I have not used the scanning feature. Having the printer hooked up to a Windows computer via the printer port and a Mac via the usb port make for very convenient printing from both environments.

I got this guy with a very low price when there was clearance. However, the this printer is very nice. I like it very much. The start toner has any pages, and i have printed about two reams of papers until now. Other fuinction such as copy work very well. Furthermore, it was laserjet.

TopStrengths: decent all-in-one printer, perfect fit for home/small business use, starter kit is enough for a thousand pages

I purchased the printer during store clearance for less than $200. It is a very decent AIO printer, especially considering it is laserjet rather than inkjet. The starter toner is at least for a thousand pages. The copy, fax, and scan functionality is also pretty good, even though i don't use them a lot.

Weakness: cannot upgrade ram - next step up is 3380 which is pricey
i find it extremely unfortunate that you cannot upgrade the ram for this printer. it's a great printer and would be much better if you could upgrade the ram for faster printing. if you're only printing words - it's probably okay - but images slow it down to a snail's pace.

TopStrengths: Fast and Clean Text printer. Toner cartridge keeps on going and going and...
Weakness: I found the controls not as intuitive as I am used to having used Apple OS for 15 years.
Printer produces very clean text document, even the most boring looking documents look crisp and professional. When I print Halftone and tint documents it does slow down a bit, but I purchased it to produce text. I would recommend highly if you are tired of buying ink cartridges.

the 130 sheets tray of my hp 3015 laser jet is not working, the 30 and 10 sheets tray feeder are working do. It always take the paper from the 30 sheets feeder tray instead of the 130 sheets tray, why`s that?

This is a very good laserjet printer from HP for home or office use. This is a good performer with low price and reasonably small size for a laerjet printer. Highly Recommended.

I got it on clearance on a retail store. It was a steal for this great printer. This is a very high speed laserjet printer. Good for home office or small office. It is also a All-in-one, so it can be used as a fax too.

Weakness: colors come out strange when scanning
This all in one has replaced my old fax machine and laserjet printer. It's fast and the scanner is perfect for archiving all the old files taking up space in file cabinets in the office. It scans regular documents very nicely, but not great for complex or vividly colorful documents. It's really built for scanning files or letters. Simple things. And for that, it has worked very well. It's not convenient for all possible scanning jobs, so that's a concern, but it's a great mid-level machine.

Great laser printer for the office. It handles all of the print, scan and copy needs in my small office. I am quite pleased with this printer so far.
HP is too cheap to include a USB cable with the printer, so you have to buy it yourself.
So for this price point and size for a laserjet, the performance is very good.

I couldn't be happier with my HP LaserJet 3015. I've had it for several weeks now and am still thrilled with its performance. It is a very easy to use, well organized product. Also, it has very reasonable price for all-in-one laser jet printer.
I am sure I will not use any inkjet printer from now on. Scan and copy features work just fine.
After my experiences with many inkjet machines, I would definetely recommend this machine.

Weakness: Below average photo printing. Paper capacity is not that great.
I would buy it again for the price and text printing, but not for photo printing. I am glad it came with full toner since it costs about $70 for one new one.

A great all in one compared to its price
Strengths: high speed printing, good quality
Weakness: doesnt include Mac software
For the money ($269.99 at sam's club), it's a great buy...even for the $299 on amazon, it's a good buy. I recently bought one for my home to use for work (real estate agent), and it's very impressive. I wish i bought one 2-3 years ago. Copying is simple....printing is simple....scanning is simple,
My only complaint would be that it does not come with Mac software. You have to go online and download the software. I'm also having issues with faxing from my computer, however this is most likely as user error and a simple call to HP will remedy the problem.
