4 Star Review A solid SOHO printer

Strengths:

Fast on multiple page prints, pretty good time to first page out, though not instant as the box claims.

Weaknesses:

A bit noisy, the ethernet and duplexing on the D/N/DN models costs a lot more than this one.

Posted Feb 10, 2007 - If you're looking for a SOHO printer and won't need duplexing or networking, look no further than this printer. It has a decent size speed advantage over the 10xx series. My only real complain on this model is that its not as quiet as the 10xx series in my opinion. It prints fast and with great resolution. If you are looking at the upgradable memory option, then don't get this printer for that. HP uses an odd format DDR stick which is very expensive. You would be better served just putting that 100+ dollars towards a higher end printer.

5 Star Review great printer

Strengths:

fast & easy to use the single sheet feed. Have not had a paper jam.

Weaknesses:

none

Posted Mar 5, 2008 - The HP printers seem to be the best and this model in particular. It is fast on multiple prints and does not jam easily. Also the single sheet feed works great!

5 Star Review Solid medium-volume laser printer

Strengths:

Fast, quick to print first page, cost, reliability.

Weaknesses:

Paper tray only holds 300 pages, it's noisy.

Posted Jan 17, 2008 - I bought this to replace an ancient HP laser jet that held up for years but finally died (it was so old it used a serial port!). The switch has been dramatic! This printer is fast, prints out the first page in a job very quickly, the print quality is excellent, it doesn't curl the pages like many laser printers, installation was a piece of cake, & it has a small footprint. My only complaints are that the paper tray doesn't hold a full ream (which is annoying, but I can live with it) & that it is a bit noisy (but in a loud office environment, I don't really care). I'd recommend this to anyone needing a simple, medium-volume, non-networked laser printer.

4 Star Review solid, fast HP laser printer

Strengths:

printing fast, initiating fast, solid quality

Weaknesses:

toner price high, a little bit noisy.

Posted 1 year ago - bought it last month when it's on sale. I have to say it print paper faster than I think. Initiating printing is also fast too, w/o sacrificing the quality. HP does a great job on quality control. noisy issue is just like other HP printers I bought before, a little bit louder than the ones made by Samsung. But it's tolerable. Yes, it's a little bit expensive than the same kind of printer made by Samsung and Brothers. But you get what you pay for.

4 Star Review Very fast

Strengths:

very fast

Weaknesses:

pricey toner

Posted 1 year ago - This printer requires virtually no warm up time, and prints very quickly. I use it basically for text only, so I can't comment on the quality of its images. Like most toner cartridges, pretty pricey. Burned through the half-filled sample toner in one month.

4 Star Review LaserJet P2015 Laser Printer

Strengths:

Fast, very quiet, space saver and easy to fit

Weaknesses:

Paper bin only takes 300 pages

Posted Aug 10, 2007 - I really like this printer for abour $300. It prints documents really fast and the printing quality is very nice. I have small office space and this printer fits perfectly compare to my old HP 1600 printer. In addition, it runs very quiet. My only complaint is that the paper bin only fits 300 pages. I used to have HP 4000 laser jet that can take 500 pages and it's about the same size as laser jet P2015.
