HP 6210 OFFICEJET ALL IN ONE PRINTER

Strengths: Easy installation..was concern regarding other reviews but it was a SNAP! Small and compact. Nice layout. Printer is great! 4x6 borderless with great results! Scans fast! Fax superb.

Weakness: Ink cartridge expensive but you can buy refill inks which is cheaper. Wish had a built in phone device or just a speakerphone.

Great! Wanted to buy the Canon MP780 because of its consistently nice reviews but this one caught my attention because of its size and simple layout. Installation was a breeze. Remember always to follow instructions. DO NOT CONNECT THE PRINTER TO YOUR COMPUTER VIA USB UNTIL TOLD TO. It takes time to install the software..just be patient and when you its done..its a breeze! Refill ink tanks...go to ebay or inktec.com..its cheap and works great!

HP (Hewlett-Packard) OfficeJet 6210 Multifunction...

Strengths: Easy setup, everything worked out of the box. I feel I got more then expected.

Weakness: Really have not found any.

I've used a lot of HP and other printers including color lasers. And before buying I do a reasonably thorough job of comparing the latest and greatest. So when I was finally tired of all the space my trusty HP970 printer, my Visoneer Scanner, and Brother FAX machine were taking up I started looking at all-in-one machines. My particular must haves were compact size and both a sheet feeder AND a flat plate scanner. It goes without saying good speed and print quality were must haves too. Lower on the list was price since I plan on having it for at least 3 years and a few bucks saved now doesn't amount to much on a per year basis. Most likely you aren't even reading this if you are not looking for similar features since you can spend at least $100 less if all you really want is just basic printer/fax/flatbed scanner capability. And you can spend $100 more if you want lots of bells and whistles, in which case you should look at the HP 7310. But the 7310 is a LOT bigger.

HP (Hewlett-Packard) OfficeJet 6210 Multifunction...

Strengths: DOES IT ALL!! GREAT OUTPUT! PRICE/PERFORMANCE RATIO IS GREAT!

Weakness: HIGH INK COSTS! SHOULD HAVE LOWER PRICED INK CARTRIDGES, KIND OF NOISY.

I HAVE USED OTHER PRINTERS FROM HP AND I THINK THIS IS A GREAT PRINTER FOR A SMALL OFFICE OR FOR YOUR HOME IF YOU NEED ALL OF THESE FEATURES IN A PRINTER. IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER $100 TO SPEND THAN YOU CAN GET A BETTER PRINTER WITH A LCD FOR DIGITAL CAMERAS.

HP (Hewlett-Packard) OfficeJet 6210 Multifunction...

Strengths: Very easy to connect and operate. Impressive print, scan and copy results.

Weakness: Ink kind of expensive and used up fast when printing photos.

Overall I like this AIO a lot. It delivers one of the best results I ever had on inkject printers. Print, copy, scan and fax on one machine is fantastic and save me a lot of space at home office. Pretty good value for money too.

HP 6210

Strengths: Very nice all-in-one. Easy setup & easy to use. Good price and features.

Weakness: None so far.

Despite comments that I read of difficult and long setup, I found proper prepration (turn off antivirus, firewall etc) makes for an easy install. This is my first all-in-one and I like the nice compact design that does save desk top space. Controls are easy to setup and use. Software is very nice. Cannot wait to "play" around with it some more and see what all it can and will do. Have not tried the PicBridge, yet. But will do so soon. As far as LED display who needs it? I would much perfer to view and edit photos on my monitor where I can actually see them. Cheaper to upload or take to drug store and get photos printed anyway.

All in all I am really impressed with the 6210 all-in-one. For about $200 you get everything you need and then some.
Very good buy.
8.21.05 update. like this product so well we bought 1 for our church. Except for excesive ink usuage and cost(nothing new) no complaints and performs very well.

HP (Hewlett-Packard) OfficeJet 6210 Multifunction...

Strengths: Compact, easy to use controls, great user manual. Unlik some epson all-in-one, this one also has fax function. The quality of text prints is great. Photo prints are good.

Weakness: Ink is expensive compared to an all-in-one Canon I have

So far I have had no problem with it. This product was very easy to setup and use. The feeder can handle the volume of pages we need. The control panel faces forward for easy use from the front or from above, which is important because I keep the printer at about eye level. It is definitely worth the price I paid for it.

Hp Officejet 6210 all in one

Strengths: I recently purchased this system, an i am extremely satisfied with it! My OS is windows XP Home, with SP1! I had no problem installing and configuring it.

Weakness: Does not come with essential USB cable!

Before purchasing this system, I read some of the reviews that were posted, both negative and positive! I have had no problems. I bought the system to replace my old HP K60 officejet, which i ruined by buying the cheap internet ink!
The C6210, I have found to be excellent in all areas, and very user friendly! Let me say this to customers who will purchase this product in the future. The HP C6210 all in one does not come with a USB cable, which is essential for a complete installation! this has to be purchased seperate! In my opinion this item should be included! Hope this review will be helpful to future coustomers!

HP (Hewlett-Packard) OfficeJet 6210 Multifunction...

Strengths: All functions work very well. Unit size is just right for placing in tight spaces. Unit can be used as stand-alone.

Weakness: Bundled software CD was defective.HP help center took my information over the phone and had a replacement disc mailed out in two days.Until replacement disc arrived I downloaded software from HP web.

Over all this is an excellent all-in-one machine that will satisfy must Home office users. I highly recommend this unit; unless you need network capability you may want to look at the HP 7300 series with Ethernet connectivity.

HP 6210

Strengths: 1,200 x 2,400 dpi scan resolution, 48-bit color USB 2.0 and PictBridge connectivity; Color prints, copies, scans, and faxes all-in-one machine Up to 23 ppm black print/copy speed, 18 ppm color print

Weakness: Print cartidges have very little capacity. The color cartridge has a list price of $32.00 and yields 260 "standard" pages. That's 12 cents per page.

I could not be more pleased with the quality of the printed pages and the operation, but avoid heavy use because of excessive ink cost per page
Scanner, printer, and fax all worked great. The unit is very, very compact and handsomely styled - a far cry from the earlier all-in-ones that these replaced. The paper feed tray could perhaps be improved. A small amount of care must be used to prevent stuffing the paper in too far.

HP Officejet 6210 All-In-One Review

Strengths: The name says it all. Everything I need is located in one location. Easy to set up and use.

Weakness: Unable to run my stand alone scanner while this scanner feature is installed.

Right out of the box, I liked this All-In-One unit. It was easy to set up with now complications and it's just as simple to use. I am a previous HP owner which is why I went with this one. There was an HP rep in the store who answered all my dumb questions, and then some. They also personally walked me and the printer to the checkout. When I got home, the setup was so simple I was up and running in no time.

The ink is real easy to change and the fax feature has two ways to send; either by scanning from the glass or by using the sheet feeder. You are able to fax in B&W or color and the same goes for the copy feature too.

The only real problem I ran into was I have a stand alone scanner and I cannot run (have connected) that scanner with the one in this printer without conflict. Not a big deal for me. I like the HP 6210 All-In-One and would certainly recommend it for anyone interested in condensing their home office to utilize space.

HP (Hewlett-Packard) OfficeJet 6210 Multifunction...

Strengths: very easy to use, color is very good, usb connection

Weakness: ink is expensive, kind-of-loud

I have used this printer for about 2 months and really like it a lot, but the printing/copying a little noisy. I used it for photo printing, and the color is really nice. They also sell special photo ink carttridge for this printer that is more expensive, but the photo printing results from the standard color cartridge work just fine. If I have a choice again, I'd probably buy one that has media slot and LCD screen.

Great color quality in printing. Nice to have accepted media type as cover. Great quality for the price paid. Would recommend others

HP (Hewlett-Packard) OfficeJet 6210 Multifunction...

Strengths: fast, clear printing

Weakness: small ink cartridges - I'm already through the first black one. Also, there is only direct connection picture support for HP cameras - many others in this price range have support for the cards, not the brand.

The pictures are very clear. I would suggest this for advanced home use rather than for an office, though. It's a good machine, but it carries more of the style of a home printer - that's just my intuition speaking, but in an office setting you'd go through a print cartridge every week.

HP (Hewlett-Packard) OfficeJet 6210 Multifunction...

Strengths: HP Quality, Fax, Small Footprint.

Weakness: Expensive Ink. No card slot.

This is a very good HP brand true All-in-One (many All-in-Ones do not have Fax, this does) that has a reasonably small footprint and works flawlessly. It outputs copies and prints at close to the advertised speeds and the quality is excellent. The menu on the machine is intuitive and the buttons are well placed. Compatible cameras can be directly attached for prints. The HP software is a bit bloated but works well with the machine. One downside is that HP inks are relatively expensive but all-in-all the machine performs very well.

Strengths: good quality

Weakness: ink expensive

I bought this machine about three months ago. I love it. The printing quality is pretty good. However, as with all inkjet printers or all-in-ones, the ink costs too much. So I usually use it as a scanner, and occasionally use it as a copier.

Strengths: It's an all in one

Weakness: It's an all in one.

An all in one unit is both a strength and a weakness. On the one hand it saves space and you only have to buy toner/cartridges for one unit. On the other, if one part breaks you're out a printer, copier and a scanner. Other than that, great unit.

Strengths: fast printing in the right mode, good fax chip too. The flatbed design is such a plus!

Weakness: I sometimes feel it will break when I move its various parts. Full software installation slows my boot up time considerably.

Solid unit for the price. Works seamlessly with my HP computer. Accompanying software is comprehensive but simple to use. Overall, a good home office unit.

Strengths: Quality of copies and received Fax's. Good photo prints

Weakness: Not user friendly while setting up. Had to call HP for setting up and making this unit print in color

Great machine, so far. Good print quality from copies, and photos. However, out of the box it would not print color. It cost me almost 2 hours on 2 separate calls and 2 color print cartridges before it printed in color.

Does not work with Windows Server 2003 out of the...

Strengths: All-in-one

Weakness: No USB cable included, somewhat noisy

I installed, uninstalled and re-installed the software 3+ times to try to get it to work with Windows Server 2003 (Small Business Edition). The software in the CD was version 4.2. Stay away from this. Instead, download the latest one from the web (version 4.7). The support pages (and the installer) says that the Server OS is not supported. The problem was that even though I got a connection and the software could talk to the printer, HP Scan software would complain that it could not connect. I got it to work by setting the Windows Image Acquisition Service (run services.msc) to automatic and by restarting.

HP (Hewlett-Packard) OfficeJet 6210 Multifunction...

Strengths: All-in-one

Weakness: noisy, cost per page is high

It is a small printer, perfect for a place where you need all features (printing, copying, scan etc.) but don't have much space. However it is definitely not a printer for high volume printing. Ink goes fast and the containers are small. It is also noisy.
Colors are not bad.

HP 6210 AIO

Strengths: Small foot print, good color, sort of fast.

Weakness: Software is the pits. Took 9 attempts to load, and still got errors. No reply from HP. Epson loaded in 3.5 minutes.

Noisey, clunky sounds. Took 9 (NINE !!) attempts to load the software and still got software errors all over the place, no way to uninstall (error #1), will not update (error #2), cannot register (error #3), and the list goes on and on. NEVER again will I buy an HP product. Epson, Brother, Lexmark all are quieter, faster, and have good software. MADE IN CHINA? Software from Bangledesh? No wonder. Buyer beware. No way to contact HP for new software CD.

I'm pretty sure this is a case of user idiocy/home pc limitations more than the software sucking. This is my third HP printer, the last two being all-in-ones. I've NEVER had any problem installing or uninstalling the software (control panel/remove software?), and if you need a new software CD--contact HP online!! Don't make this too difficult.....

This is a pretty decent printer for the money, as every other testimonial here has also said. Don't listen to the guy who's beating his head against the wall because he doesn't follow directions.

I got one of these a couple of weeks ago for my home office. It will not print anything that has graphics on it, whether it is from word, FireFox, IE, whatever. I'm using it with a ThinkPad running XP.

I spent over an hour on the phone with HP today, they were completely stumped. I can't even get the windows test page to print properly. The printer stops after partially printing the job, then starts repeatedly trying to print the job again, each time spitting out partially printed pages.

We've been through every hardware test and ruled out a problem with the physical printer (color copies work fine regardless of graphics), but the software, as another user noted, is pure crap. They've already had me reinstall twice, neither time changed the problem (but took an hour with two reboots each time).

Don't buy this printer until they get the software bugs worked out.

HP 6210 OFFICEJET ALL IN ONE PRINTER

Strengths: Easy setup, easy to use and produces nice quality prints.

Weakness: A bit noisy, easily jams while printing.

I bought mine in November 17, 2005. After the first 35 days I had a paper jam that wouldn't clear. It was decided that it was an internal software problem and they sent me a new one under the warranty. May 2006, I had another paper jam on the new printer. I got it cleared but the printer was very noisy after. When I tried to print anything the paper jams increased. Then while trying to print on card stock the printer wouldn't take the paper and would jam up. While trying to figure out the problem with the tech support I found a part of the printer underneath it. I have had the third printer for just over a month and so far no problems but I don't trust it to continue working. I can't remember having so much trouble with a printer. I think I will extend my warranty on this too! If given the choice to change to something else I would!

I can’t recommend this product at all. I made less than 50 copies / printed pages and it jammed. HP was kind enough to replace the product. The new machine was in use for less than 50 copies and it jammed again, this time a totally different problem. HP is sending me a new machine again. Frankly I don’t know what to think. The printer, scanner and fax functions worked well till I wanted to make copies and then, after a few copies it jammed up. Think about reliability before you get this machine.

HP (Hewlett-Packard) OfficeJet 6210 Multifunction...

Strengths: Good print quality.

Weakness: Scanner and copier did not work right out of the box.

Not only did the scanner and copier functions not work right out of the box, hp customer service promised a new unit shipped overnight which didn't happen. When I called customer service again to find out why, I was promised a call from a case manager. That didn't happen either. On other occasions, I have not had good experiences with hp customer support and was reluctant to buy the hp6210 for that reason, but didn't think I would have to deal with them so soon after my purchase.

HP Officejet 6210 AIO

Strengths: Great pring quality in B & W

Weakness: Feeder jams, cartridges won't stay lined up, major problems with color cartridges, problems, problems, problems!!

We have been using this product for about a year and a half. We have spent hours just trying to keep it running. If you have to cancel a job in the middle of printing, woe be unto you. The carriage can't figure out where it's supposed to be then it clunks and clunks until it says "carriage jam". You can't clear it.

When trying to print in color, one has to perform a major color cartridge cleaning, realign the cartridges, print a test sheet. then run a few sheets until the color pattern prints ALL of the colors properly. I will never buy another HP product after this.
