The Model B is ideal for classroom and meeting room facilities. Its easy pull-down system locks at intervals to fit a variety of projection formats. Disgusting waves in screen

Strengths:

low price = low quality

Weaknesses:

Screen has horrible vertical waves in it and is never flat!

Posted Jul 13, 2006 - A viewing screen must be flat! Making this screen completely worthless! You're better off painting your wall white! I purchased the High Contrast matte white version and have been severely disappointed. The screen is never flat! I'm sorry to say this but the other reviewers must be blind. If they do not see how distorted the image on the screen is by the vertical waves then they are fools. So many of these reviews seem to be written by people who know nothing of quality or aesthetics. This problem is why Dalite sells "tensioned" screens for much more money because this is a real problem. I honestly can't believe they sell these screens with the waves in them. Watch something in which the camera pans left and right and you will become sea sick. Thouroughly disgusted, consider yourself warned I am returning mine. Don't make the same mistake shipping is expensive on these!

Model B Screen 72 X 96 - HUGE!!!

Posted Apr 6, 2006 - Just got this a few days ago and LOVE IT! It is HUGE! I wanted a large screen for Home Theater and figured how large an image my projector would project based on distance from the screen and this was the size I calculated. Wow, I didn't know it would be this big, guess I should have gotten the tape measure out and seen physically how large it would be. It's almost like being at the game live!!! I love it! Only down side was having to support my suspended ceiling before hanging this from it.

Da-Lite Projection Screen

Strengths:

Haven't really tested yet but looks decent. Did not get the black handle. Got all white which was not what I really wanted but the screen looks okay.

Weaknesses:

Huge Screen & Heavy!!!!

Posted Feb 6, 2006 - This screen is huge. If you don't want something that big, order the 84". I didn't realize it until it got delivered and I was like wow!!! Provantage is great with product delivery, however their customer service sucks!!! Rude ladies on the phone. I ordered my product on Monday night like 2:00 AM in the morning and it got delievered on Wednesday morning at 10:30 AM however- FedEx didn't meet me each time so I didn't get it until Friday but I thought the shipping was extremely fast!!! Order from them if you want it fast and you're going to be home for FedEx drop-off.
