After taking my order and shipping the projector someone from Projector People called to tell me they were out of the extended lamp warranties. For a company that makes thier living using computers doing internet sales, you would think real time updates of inventory to their web site would be within reason. In other words, they should never sell something they do not have. The gentleman that called to tell me he was out of the warranties his "hands were tied". There was nothing he could do. Hope my future service from them (heaven forbid there is a problem) is better than my initial experience.	Overall Rating

Get a message asking for a call back the next day. Call back, and find out the product isn't even in the country yet. When I ask why their site has been showing the product as in stock for the past week, get the response, "It doesn't say that it's in stock. It says that it ships in 1 to 2 days. That's the default status for our site." Now, perhaps I'm missing something, but if a site says that a product ships in "1-2 days", that implies a certain degree of availability. Then to have the sales clown pull that crap is just too much. Needless to say, I: 1 - canceled my order order then and there, 2 - will place these clowns on my list of banned, pseudo-vendors. Projector People had the best price on the web but I did not expect the quality of service I received. Stacey's product knowledge was first rate and her follow up was excellent. The projector was in stock and shipped as promised. Even after my eleventh hour change from a manual screen to a fixed screen, Stacey changed the order with no problems. I recently purchased a Panasonic PT-AE3000U, 92” Elite EzFrame screen, and a projector mount from them. The sale person (Sara) has been very nice and answered all questions. She never pushed me into purchasing anything until I was ready to buy. I probably called her at least 12-15 times asking questions. The hardware after sale was at my house within 3 days and in perfect shipping condition. I highly recommend buying from Sarah / Projector people and this comes from an avid online shopper. Even though there are numerous other companies out there, I found myself returning time & again to Projector People’s site. It was easy to navigate, well-designed, they carry an excellent selection of manufacturers and their prices were competitive. Months later, I made my first telephone contact with them and was equally impressed. My sales contact knew his stuff and made several recommendations that improved upon my solutions. We exchanged information for 3 months before I made my purchase, & he never pressured me. I always felt he was working to help me make a good decision instead of just closing another sale. He was always accessible and responded to phone & e-mail questions promptly. I enjoy doing business with such people and will use them again!	Overall Rating

I called them later Monday night and only received an email the next day saying the order was processed. I then asked for a tracking number in a return email and was told I would receive one when the order was shipped. It is now the 4th and I have not seen an tracking number yet. I have tried to call several times and have not been able to reach my sales rep. I just sent another email so we will see what happens now. Not fast and not good customer service so far. The projector I ordered (Sanyo PLV-Z2000) suddenly displayed faulty images within the week of receiving it, and in under 15 hours of use. Instead of simply exchanging the broken machine with another one (like a large retailer would), they promptly referred me to Sanyo's repair facility which couldn't give me any information on the projector for the first two days of receiving it. Projectorpeople.com and Sanyo both assure me a 72 hour return time, so when I called for the fourth time on the third day, I am disappointed to hear that they need to wait for a part which should arrive sometime next week. I tried working something out with the representative at projectorpeople who could only tell me that a faulty screen output from the projector doesn't qualify as a DOA under Sanyo's warranty, and could therefore not help me with an exchange. The salesperson was very nice,professional and knowledgeable BUT after purchasing the projector,electric screen,lamp warranty, 5 yr ext warranty and mount, I called to inquire about a ceiling trim kit for the projector. I was told "well there is a lot of different model numbers..not sure if we sell it for your projector..better call Elite. I call Elite found the Part number and am told it could probably be found cheaper elsewhere. Suprised, I call back PP with a part number,,Yes, we do have that one.. a lotof back and forth,she quotes a higher MSRP and shipping than Manufac. I asked her to recheck the model, she says she's right. Oh well I look elsewhere and I find the AE2000u,warranties,screen,and mount all cheaper at a competitor.(Visualapex). I find I overpaid for everything I bought.Granted not by much but c'mon. Make sure you shop around. A sweet voice doesn't make it a wise purchase.	Overall Rating

I went with PP because they had the lowest price of all the authorized resellers that were listed on the manufacturer's website. Their website was also one of the most professional looking. The checkout experience was also professional grade. I received a call from their fulfillment team the next business day (I had ordered on a Sunday) telling me that they received the order and that they were getting ready to ship. It was wonderful to get a personal confirmation for an online order of this magnitude. Not only did they inform me that my projector would arrive in a few days (and require someone to sign for it), but they were more than happy to switch to the parcel carrier that was more convenient for me. I've never had this level of personal interaction with an online merchant. I highly recommend this seller.	Overall Rating
