Strengths:

it's strengths would have to be that's one of the best team player games that i ever played, and that it never ends no matter how much you play it.

Weaknesses:

there are no weaknesses to this game it's the best game i've ever played. you should play it too

Posted Apr 8, 2003 - i studied the three dynasties before i played the games and they are very true to life. I was very interested to hear that koei made a games about the three dynasties after the fall of the Han dynasty. Koei also made a game based on a book about the three dynasties. i think everybody should at least try to play this game i can promise you you'll like it

Posted Jul 8, 2003 - this is the best dynasty warriors game ever made. you can create your own officer. you can make your own body gourd unit as well. the new weapon expirence system is great. that makes this game so awsome. there are more levels and three new characters you should buy it.

5 Star ReviewI,personally think it's one of the BEST games out ...

Strengths:

Better costumes,attacks and new people.There are much more levels.There are more items, Edit mode,one on one duels and you can change people in mosou mode .It's a great game!

Weaknesses:

The background isn't the best but it's better than the others and there are more battles at the same places,so it's a bit repetitive.

Posted May 30, 2003 - I,personally think it's one of the BEST games out there. Unfortunally, no cheats, none what so ever. So I had to work to get everyone, but it's not too hard,it lets you know when you get a new characture.But I don't like the part where battles are played at the same stages.But overall it's the greatest "Dynasty Warriors" game so far.

Strengths:

I think Dynasty Warriors 4 is the best game in the series yet, it has great graphics and the new costumes are excellent.It also has better moves on weapens.

Weaknesses:

I would say it`s weaknesses are that when you pick up items like health or musou the writing is to small which is same with the item, but other than that it is a great game.

Strengths:

All generals are playable in Musou Mode. NEW, HOT, OUTFITS. Characters are so much cooler looking. ELEPHANT SADDLE! Over 50 stages over 17 unique maps. One-on-One duels that I kick butt in.

Weaknesses:

No hot Nu Wa. OR FUXI. But you can make them in full armor. ONLY THREE NEW PLAYABLE CHARACTERS. Zhang He same g@y old self. I can't beat Lu Bu in a duel!!

Posted May 11, 2003 - I have gotten all Characters and all weapons and all items. Remarkably It was without any cheat codes (Which DOESn'T WORK!!!! ) Mostly because of the new weapon expierience system. You can have Lady guards, Nanman, and those amazonesses, normal guys and Yellow Turbaners. You can change your musou character before a battle starts. New character-specific charge attaks and elemental attacks. One thing, they never fixed the unlimeted Musou on Elephants. This game is nearly perfect. This is the greatest game ever invented.

Strengths:

four is alot better than the last one. you can build your own officers and bodyguards, the graphics are alot better and the game is harder and more challanging with more levels to play

Weaknesses:

I personally love the game and don't think there are any weaknesses to it,and on a scale from 1 to 10 would give it a 12

Posted Apr 23, 2003 - this game is probably the best I've played this year and last, I like the added feature of dualing other officers and making bodygaurds and officers, though you can't make them look real cool, but to an exstent. I highly recomend this game to anyone you likes non-stop fighting action with medival weapons or just because it is a great game.

Posted Jan 30, 2008 - can anyone tell how to unlock 10 and 11 lvl swords on liu bei? i now they are in the game because i saw it my friend had them but he dosent remember how he get that. mine sword is 9 lvl and it can't be bigger. sorry for the mistakes. :)

This is a very awsome action game. if u havent played anyothers dont worry this game kicks a$$.

Weaknesses:

a weakness is that its alitle like 3 but thats still ok i mean 3 rocks too.
