Things need to be added such as better damage models, when you get hit, the other drivers don't get mad, changing weather such as windy, cloudy, rain delays, red flags, going to the garage after a bad wreck and then returning with part of your car cut off, doing your own pit road driving, more realistic wrecks, and something i think no one else mentioned, driver health

Total Team Control

Posted Aug 31, 2006 - This is definitely the most fun racing game I have ever played. Sure games like GT4 put all of their effort into creating realism (the most accurate graphics and car simulations), but that doesn't necessarily make a game fun. In NASCAR 06, you race around and actually have to plan things out and utilize your teammates. A crash can nearly (or completely) put you out of a race if you're not careful, so you need to be patient and thorough. Utilizing racing techniques, pit strategies, and teammates to block or lead for you helps to not only win a race, but also set you up to win the entire season. I have spent so much time with this game, it is unreal. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys strategy and/or racing games. Even if you don't, I would still recommend at least a rental.

NASCAR 06: Total Team Control

Posted May 30, 2006 - Total Team Control is definitely an exciting NASCAR game. Not only do you get to race to the front of the pack while using all the common techniques (drafting, slingshot, blocking, etc.), but you also get teammates who can help you out and vice versa. However, Total Team Control is not all good. The team commands do not work extremely well and the graphics can use an overhaul. Also, unlike more mainstream games (Gran Turismo, Burnout, etc.), Total Team Control is a very involving game that requires planning and patience. While I do not mind this, most gamers will find this annoying. I would recommend this game to any NASCAR fan. However, for the casual gamer, I would suggest a more mainstream game.

Great Game

Posted Oct 31, 2005 - This is a very fun racing game even for non-nascar or racing fans. It provides a pretty challenging task throughout the game since it brings out a lot of realism and requires players to be patient and careful in order to win. Great game for harcore fans and casual gamers alike.

Just an Okay Game

Posted Oct 19, 2005 - I'm not a big fan of NASCAR, so maybe that may turn me off parts of the game, but found the game to be just alright. The graphics was pretty good but not GT4 good. The cars handled very well. But the thing that got me the most interested in playing the game the total team control with the mic sucked. It couldn't tell between the words follow and moo. If you like NASCAR it's a very good sim game for you. If you don't, get GT4.
