I used Qualitymatters.com after I had gone to (a big appliance store that begins with the letter S) and was totally ignored while shopping for a Grill to purchase... The store was almost empty at the time and after spending an hour wishing I could get some customer service, I left and decided to look online and discovered Qualitymatters! Contrary to their published return policy, QualityMatters.com refused a refund or exchange. I think Quality Matters actually sold me a refurbished model as there were minor blemishes and the way the unit was packed looked anything but like it came from the manufacturer. Misrepresenting their return policy and selling used merchandise as new are things a reputable retailer would never do. I would never buy anything from Quality Matters again. They are a total rip off! Stay away from QualityMatters.com. They are unethical and not trustworthy.
Retailer Response (11/09/2009): We would like to set the record straight on this situation. We treat all customers fairly and with respect. Our 30 day return policy is better than many of our competitors. This customer received his product on July 13th but did not report his desire to return the product until October 8th, nearly 3 months later. This was a full 2 months after the end of the return policy and the product had been removed from the box and used. We did everything we could, within reason, to assist this customer. We offered to have the unit replaced under the manufacturers warranty if it was not working properly but the customer refused. There was nothing more that we could do to help him at that point. Our reviews show that we are honest, ethical and dedicated to superior customer service.

I searched online for a company that sold Bradley Smokers wood bisquettes and offerd free shipping. Quality Matters came up. So I purchased two of the items totaling $95.80, no tax, free shipping. I even printed out the receipt of which I have reflecting this. I then get notice from Quality Matters that they will not ship these items free unless I have purchased a $350 Bradley smoker! Thats just not right.
Retailer Response (07/28/2009): The issue you refer to was because you attempted to use a coupon code improperly. As we explained at the time that the time of purchase, there is no free shipping on Bradley accessories alone. The Bradley product pages clearly state “Order a Bradley Smoker Plus One Or More Accessories and Receive Free Shipping Off Your Entire Order! Use Coupon Code \"RCACC\" During Checkout”. Unfortunately we are unable to offer free shipping on the accessories alone as we have them priced very low.

liked the website, we received the merchandise in a large box without any packing, this dehumidifier was tossed all around in shipping and arrived without any packing slip, warranty card, owners manual, we wonder if is was used or refurbished. We thought we bought a new unit and are very upset with what we received. An email states that they will check with the packer and see what's up. That won't help with my damp basement at this time. I would not recommend this supplier to anyone. Overall Rating
