The only problem I have with RBC was the time it took to get my notebook. HOWEVER, I was about to order a laptop that had significantly lower specifications than the newer model which was about to come out. Luckily, my customer service representative I had been working with notified me that I could get the newer model for cheaper. Unfortunately, he was uninformed of when the laptop was to come in, and thusly so was I. Though I was a bit tiffed because of this, my rep was very patient with me and tried to get me my laptop as soon as possible for them, and also gave me a refund for the price change. I had to wait awhile, but I ended up with a far more powerful computer and couldn't be happier! Also, I asked for a sales receipt at about 6:30pm so I could send in my warranty, and I get a response in almost no time! Thanks so much! RECOMMENDED!!! |

I do not like sites that do not allow shipping via the US Post Office to my PO box number. I live in a rurual area and do not trust UPS to find my street address. Retailer Response (07/24/2008): We do this for the customers protection because PO Box orders are frequently signs of fraudulent orders. Please understand that we take customer satisfaction very seriously, but in order to prevent fraud, we sometimes must do things like this. Again, please keep in mind that it is for customer safety. |

The web-site looks a little bit unprofessional, but it's functional: there were no problems to place the order. Then, once they received my notebook from a manufacturer, they sent it to me the same day, and the customer service informed me right away. Unlike other companies, RBC has lower prices, plus I have a gift from them with my notebook (4Gb Zen V Plus) - very nice :) Everything came to me fully functional. Had to call their 800 number as they were having technical difficulties and couldn't handle me adding a Shipping address to my account. They were able to add it for me pretty quickly so I could place the order and they apologized for their technical glitch that they were working on fixing. |

Difficult checkout, had to do over from days before because of checkout error. Plus it says shipping is free to US and I was charged for shipping even though I am quite sure Utah is still in US. Retailer Response (07/24/2008): I apologize for the inconvenience, we were in the process of fixing some issues. Though the website may have said you were being charged for shipping, as long as your Notebook order was shipped within the US, you were not charged for the shipping. |
