Help! Aiwa combo

Discussion of Sony RM-V202 Universal Remote Control

Posted Aug 29, 2006 - Hi I have an older tv Aiwa combo VX-D212OK, and although the V202 controls part of Aiwa eg: volume,, power on/off,, channel change,,text, it does'nt work on my menu (which I need to tune my camera ) or the video although I can do the video via front buttons on tv. Any reply would be much appreciated thanks

Discussion of Remote Controls

Posted May 17, 2006 - I want to actually have one remote and don't mind paying for it, but I'm getting confused as to which remote will actually do this. I have a Comcast DVR and want to work all the "picture" size buttons on my TV remote. Does anyone have the same components and can verify that they work with a certain remote? I'm willing to pay up to $150, but I don't want to go through the stress unless I know it will work. Thanks.

Posted Mar 22, 2006 - I'm tired of juggling three remotes to change components on my system...but I'm a cheapskate. I've got different brands of components, plus a cable-box that never works properly with the automatic settings of universal remotes... Anyone know a (affordable) remote where I can program macros & manually program buttons?
