Highly recommend for a simple wired router.

Strengths:

Very easy to setup and install.

Weaknesses:

None so far.

Posted 1 year ago - I needed a basic wired router for 3 PCs (one XP and two Vista) and a printer and this fit the bill. I covered all the major brand reviews on all the popular web sites. But, I found this at a very reasonable price and took a chance. I decided on this model because so many reviewers found the router connected on first attempt and was easy to install and setup. Out of the carton I followed the simple instructions, but did not need or use the Setup Wizard. I was fearfull of the outcome but have not had any problems so far. It went as promised and I was up and connected in minutes. The connection speeds are as good as if not faster than they were without the router.

Posted 1 year ago - Super easy install! I had it working in less than 15 minutes. The price cannot be beat. Much better than Linksys routers. This is a very good product for a small home network!

Surprising Upgrade

Posted 1 year ago - While replacing a D-Link Gigabit switch that died, I decided to upgrade the router as well. Once both were setup, I was surprised how much faster certain Internet apps were. Both torrent and webcam programs throughput increased dramatically. Webcam FPS in every Messenger App jumped from about 2 FPS to at least 8-10.
