The item was backordered, but they never bothered to tell me. I got a request to review my "recently purchased" item that I never received, so I checked the website and it said the item was shipped to me. I called and they said it was backordered and would arrive in a month. It has been six weeks and I just called again and they still have no information about it. Overall Rating

I bought a rug from Rugsusa.com awhile back and had problems. I called several times but no one would answer. The company that made the rug tried to charge me for shipping even though the website advertises "free shipping". I had to wait almost a month to finally get my rug and it took many phones calls to the company. But I liked their selection and decided to give them another try. I saw a rug I liked and knew the "memorial day" sale was coming when "EVERYTHING" on their website would be 40% off. I waited and then when I went online they had pulled that specific rug. Irritated I called to see if they'd price match and go a little lower on the same rug which I had found on a competitors site for less. RUGSUSA.com does advertize that they “price match”. When I gave the sales representative (Who sounded so thrilled to be alive...not!!!) the competitors website she told me that she couldn't view that site that it was restricted and she couldn't honor the price. (Edited September 21st by 39aatthompson)  Rugsusa sent me the wrong rug. I had to take a photo and email a picture to prove it to them. I spent time emailing and phone calls to get a pre-paid label to return it. I was told I would have to wait until the rug was received and then they would ship the correct rug. I re-ordered the rug to avoid the delay and when it arrived it was the WRONG RUG AGAIN. That was 9/17 and I am still waiting on another pre-paid label. They keep saying it is being sent to the 'returns departement' and I will get the label today. 4 days later no label. Again on the phone with customer service...no label. So 24 days have past, they have charged me twice for a rug that I dont have and I have the wrong rug rolled up waiting for a return label. Overall Rating

Purchased a rug specifically because it was low price and did not have a border. When rug was delivered, it had a border. Called the company and was advised that all their rugs are made this way and I can return it but company refused to pay return shipping. After arguing with the rep and being told I could not speak with a supervisor I was told I would get an email in 2 days regarding my request to have the company pay the return. Four days passed and no email. Called back again and had the same conversation with the same rep. She promised a call back the following day and the call never came. I called back a third time, got the same rep again and was told she was advised by her manager "all our rugs are made that way and, even if the website doesn't show it, you got the right rug and we will not pay the return". Company only cares about making money and doesn't stand behind products. Terrible service. Ended up filing a complaint with BBB and my credit card. Buyer beware! Overall Rating

RugsUSA is absolutely the worst company I have ever attempted to do business with. I ordered my rugs more than a month ago, never received shipping info as promised, and I get no response to emails or live chat. Today when I called I was put on terminal hold and the rep disconnected my call twice after taking my order number. I cannot believe this company is still in business. Is there no way to file a formal complaint with whomever regulates interstate commerce? I am going to contact my credit card company and report them for fraud. RUN from this sham of a company! I have been using rugs usa for quite some time, they are my rug store of choice. I must say I could not be happier. I have used them approximately 5 times (all within a 4 month time span) to furnish my home and the transactions have been pretty seamless. I was once shipped a rug and it was damaged by the deliver courier but customer service quickly resolved my issued and I received my replacement shortly after. I will continue using this compnay for my rug needs. Overall Rating

Rugs USA has EXTREMELY slow response to phone calls, NO RESPONSE AT ALL to emails, and horrible customer service. Their supervisors refuse to return phone calls, and they lie about shipping info. I placed an order on 12/26/08. Today is 02/10/09 and I still have not received my rug. I've asked NUMEROUS times for them to issue a refund, and they refuse to do so. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY. Even if the prices are cheaper.... it's not worth the hassle to save a few bucks!!!!!!!!!!!! Overall Rating

This company is awful. I bought an item for a Christmas present at the beginning of December, fully allowing the 5 day time to ship the item to me. When I called a week after the order was placed with still no tracking or shipping information, I was informed that the product wasn't even manufactured yet and it wouldn't be ready until the 22nd of December. Evidently, RugsUSA had "Just found this out" as well. The item should have been listed as back-ordered or at least a notice should have been on the site. When I ASKED how they were going to make this right, they offered me 15% off for keeping my order active. I chose to cancel my order, as I don't feel this is a company I want to help keep in business in this economy. Overall this company lacks the quality communication skills it needs to do business with its customers. I will never order from this site again. BTW the "free shipping" isn't really free. They have a bogus processing fee which is your shipping charge. Overall Rating

Order was never received. After emailing twice and calling twice (after 4 weeks) I was told that the item was on backorder. I received no notification of this which is a regulation violation. They had no problems sendings me email advertising right away but failed to contact me about my order. I cancelled my order completely! Overall Rating

I advise using caution before giving this company your financial information. No replies or acknowledged receipt from emails that have been sent multiple times has now resulted in my being charged for 3 rug pads while the carpet order was cancelled by the merchant. This is after attempting both by phone and writing to speak with them regarding my bank flagging this merchant as a potential security risk when my original order of 4 rugs and 3 pads was placed. The bank went so far as to temporarily close my account to further activity. Believing this must be a mistake, I lifted that hold and told the bank that the merchant was authorized by me to process the order. Instead of processing my order, this company charged me for 3 carpet pads for carpets they cancelled from my order. When these pads arrive, I will not accept them nor will I pay for their return. If the company would have the courtesy to respond, I will consider withdrawing my review. Overall Rating

Ordering was easy -- but live chat pop up was annoying. Rec'd the rug quicker than expected, and also rec'd two free smaller rugs which I also wasn't aware of. (I thought the rug i bought was too small to be included in the promotion.) They are beautiful.... the biggest one was a little crimped but I imagine that will work out in time. Overall Rating
