I have been using Scan for around 14 years as I live locally so it's very east to order something then pop in and collect it. I can honestly say in all those years I have never had a problem with anything that I have bought. Unfortunately my Razer Black Widow Ultimate keyboard died at the weekend after only 4 months and I couldn't find my receipt. As most companies won't entertain a return without proof of purchase I didn't hold much hope as I set out to see what Scan could do for me. In short, I had nothing to worry about as the guys on the returns desk were helpful, cheerful and friendly and had my keyboard replaced within 5 minutes with no quibbles at all. There were no more Black Widows in stock but they helped me choose a suitable alternative of similar value/spec. I had then had to take my new order to the sales desk where again the guy that served me was chatty, friendly and knowledgeable. World class service. Well done and thankyou to all at Scan |

I have used scan in the past for companies i have worked at, honestly always found them to be an excellent service. So i was suprised to see a few poor reviews on comsumer sites, was a little concerned that maybe the retail was not as good as the business service or something. I am kind of brand loyal and the Price on FULL Windows7 Home premium is unbeatable on the high steet or web. Ok down to brass tacks, Service. Cannot see where bad reveiws have come from, Next-Day delivery with 1 hour window, text information the whole way, securely packaged. British Level of Service Award goes to Scan ***** |

Had to give some feedback, scan's website has to be #1 for ease of use, specification/description accuracy & layout and speed. Other hardware sites are slow and complicated compared. Especially with this new layout, which is why i've decided it's time to give some feedback where it's due. Q Collect is also a phenomenal idea & fast. Even when I'm building 8-10 components for an entire build (in the store) it's 10-15 minutes max til it's in my hands & i'm walking out. Scansure, today only offers, great bundle deals. Even the little things like being user-friendly to non-tech savvy users by having Tek Spek translate the jargon. Well done Scan. Keep it up. 5/5 P.S Never ONCE had a problem and i've done builds for myself n many family/friends over about 5-6 years. |

Delivery slots stated on website do not exist, had to phone premium number to cancel and asked for a refund which has been authorised (confirmed in an email that followed). I just came back from holidays and 12 days later still no money reached my account... And they have a cheek to claim customer 'satisfaction' on their website. Beware! |

Very good service, product arrived very quickly (I live in France)... First, the product I was looking for was not available in France, so I searched in Europe by looking the "Where to buy" page of the web site's manufacturer, and I found Scan International. I found that they had this product, but the website doesn't let choose other country for shipping... I decided to write an email and they immediatly answer me that it was possible to ship to France, so I week later, after a bank transfer, the product arrived, the Christmas day!!! |

Time to upgrade my pc looked all over found scan.co.uk ill give them a try and boy was i clad i did. i nominated a day for delivery 5 days after i placed order mainly because gtx580 where going like hot cakes and i would be at home, well in that time scan allways kept me informed that all my items were in stock and what would be the delivery time, with emails and texts it stated that it would arrive 16:25 -17:25 on tues it arrived 16:40 well i call that geat service. one other thing why cant all etailers be this good would i buy anything else from scan put it this way i will NOT be doing any more searching for pc parts oh and i saved £70 buying from scan |

I used Scan for the first time to order a Netgear Readynas Duo. I was extremely impressed with the whole process from start to finish. I had need to call customer services (my error) and they dealt with my query prompty and courteously. I have used a number of other on-line retailers and in my opinion, Scan is up there with the best of them ! |

All the information about the components were sent to me by email for me for review and for me to search for alternatives and read further reviews. Placing the order was simple, payment was quick and overall I felt very confident that the machine I had built/ordered would be successful in the job it was chosen for. As each machine is built to order, I received regular updates by email as to its progress through build to testing to dispatch. All software was installed on site at Scan (even a late email to ask about a partition change was accommodated with ease) with even to option of home install available. I could do that. It arrived securely packaged, even internally. It was a few weeks before I could really test the machine on a project that would prove to myself it was valid expense. Oh Boy it really does |

I recently purchased a 3XS System (custom built PC) from Scan. I became aware of Scan through the website of a graphics card provider, and noticed their advertisements in various PC magazines. Naturally cautious, I did some research on the net, and Scan seemed to receive generally positive reviews. From my own experience, I can only echo those positive reviews: I was very happy indeed with the whole purchasing experience, and am delighted with what I've now received. I was impressed with Scan's website, the ordering system, and the direct updates during the build period. There was a slight delay from the initlially anticipated build date, but then only by a matter of a few days, which didn't cause me a problem. The important thing for me was that I was told about the slight delay very early in the process, and Scan stuck to the postponed date. When I was first looking around for a machine that would handle all the particular needs of my music software and third party hardware devices in a Windows 7 environment running on i7, I did a web search, and came across this company. My exploratory email to Scan resulted in a highly detailed, case specific response from a technical consultant that demonstrated he had read and fully understood my email, and responded point by point, unlike so many copy-and-paste emails one tends to receive from Tech Support departments. Follow up emails from me were promptly responded to with no less detailed emails from him, with individually tailored information. Through this I quickly came to realise that he, and by association, the company itself had an extremely thorough grasp of music technology, so I decided to have them build the computer. I have not been disappointed. The machine I eventually received has surpassed my expectations in quality of build, performance and quietness. |

My primary supplier of IT goods has usually been Dabs, as I got a moderate discount via my employer. So when I was recently buying some new PC components I went to Dabs and placed my order as usual. One of the parts was listed as being due for delivery in 1-3 days, which was ok. After a few days I contacted their customer service and asked what sort of delivery time I could expect. I was told that the part would not be showing up for *at least* another week. Hardly 1-3 days. I cancelled my order and looked around for another supplier. I found that Scan had the parts I wanted, at prices better than I could get on Dabs even with my discount. I put in my order and immediately got a confirmation mail. Fifteen minutes later I got another mail saying the order had been packed and was ready to go, and later on a mail saying it was on its way. I have been nothing but utterly impressed by the speed of their service. I think it's safe to say I'll definitely be back. |

I placed my order, and within a day or so, I had my build date and number. Excellent, i sat back through the snow and ice and waited for my build.Kudos to Scan, as when I mentioned to them that I had extra hard drives to install, they offered to cable them in, and even when i told them I had placed an order for an extra wireless card, they picked up on that and offered to install it. Even though it wasnt part of the original build. Right the way through the process, they kept me updated with timescales, and even when there was a slight (only a day!) delay with pickup - they let me know and even the reason for the delay. (which was to make sure the Overclocking was all perfect) So they wanted it to be right before sending it- which is fine by me! On the day of collection, it was a doddle, picked it up as it was all ready and well packaged, and drove the 50 miles home.....The thing was packaged so well there was no chance of any thing moving, bubble wrap galore! Brilliant! |

I have had an outstanding experience with my first purchase from Scan. I ordered a Razer Naga gaming mouse just after midday on 20/01, by 1730 I had not only confirmation emails but a text message confirming my order had been dispatched, it arrived before 0900 the following day. It is stated and is abundantly apparent that Scan places an emphasis on this level of service, as a result I am an extremely happy customer and will be coming back. |

I needed some extra RAM for a Dell Dimension 5000 desktop, so I called this company. The employee I spoke to assured me I was ordering the right part when I told him the numbers on my ram, so I went online and ordered the part he said. It was the wrong part. I rang back as soon as it arrived and I could not fit it, explaining I wanted a full refund. They said they would not refund the £3.99 postage. Confusingly, they also put insurance on orders, which you have to opt out of. First they said they would have to check their records to see who I had spoken to, and because I did not order on the phone, it did not count as an assisted order. Then they went back on that, and said that there was no guarantee that they were sending the right part(?!) Conclusion: If Scan computers tell to you "this is the right part", it may still be wrong, and if it is, you still have to pay postage. Either go to a shop with your old RAM in your hand, or search on ebay for |

I recently ordered and had delivered a very high end PC from Scan. All during the ordering process my single point of contact was more than willing to help as we designed the PC (by mail and telephone) over several days in different combinations, eventually arriving at the specification that fitted my exacting needs. A slight delay due to the lack of availability of the graphics card I had ordered was solved by my SPOC calling and making some alternative suggestions that would give the same performance I required. The PC was delivered on the date specified with extensive packaging (including internal padding) ensuring its safe arrival. Very impressive. The physical build of the machine is excellent, I have rarely seen such a tidy interior, withall the cables and ancillary equipment tucked and tied away. Finally post checking by email from Scan to ensure all was ok with my delivery topped off what was in all an excellent service from them. |

I have used Scan since I bought my first Pentium Pro in 1996. My latest purchase of a 3XS machine arrived on time and worked straight out of the box as usual. I used Scan machines when I ran a software business and I buy Scan machines for use by my kids. There is no tougher test than that... |

Seamless ordering process. Once ordered was helpfully asked how I would like PC to be set up, then kept informed of each stage of the pc build. I found the entire process very slick, and with a great product at the end. Product arrived with very clear instructions on how to set up. Excellently packed with all internal components supported by anti-static bubble wrap. One thing I did find surprising was the amount of extra bits & pieces that came with the pc. Most companies would just ship the pc, but scan sent every part that was left over, including the original fans which I upgraded. I thought this was a nice touch and these parts are always handy to have spare at a later date. In all a great experience and highly recommended. |

Each time I have used Scan.co.uk my order has been dispatched and delivered next day, packaged well and never any problems with the contents. I had to contact customer service to ask a question about a delivery and recieved a full, polite and informative response in minutes. This was such a breath of fresh air from other companies I used in the past. As for their delivery service, they seem to have been picked well too, each time I have had a delivery I have been out of the house and they have always taken the time to find someone in a near house to leave the package with rather than make me have to go to pick it up from a depot. Scan.co.uk are fantastic, it's a shame more companies don't work like they do. |

I have just bought a top-end 3XS water-cooled system for my business. I wanted a fair amount of customisation from the systems they had (dual RAID on system and storage drives, aquero monitor for the water cooler etc). I wanted a PC that ran very fast (and would not need tech refresh for years), very quiet (due to office environment) and very cool. I was really pleased with the service throughout the design, purchase and build stages. Both sales and IT kept me updated on progress every couple of days (critical for my data migration) and solved a series of design issues caused by my wanting to cram in everything I could onto the PC. The sales team did not use this as an opportunity to sell me the most expensive stuff and actually advised me against components where the performance didn't justify the price. I went with Scan after having done a fair bit of diligence on the market but primarily due to recommendation of a friend had bought a 3XS system. The Scan PC works perfectly. |

Recently brought a 3XS system from scan, just going to give a really quick rundown of the good and bad points. Good points - Excellent build quality, wiring is amazing, no problems with any of the drivers and the PC runs fantastic, excellent staff when you can get through to them. Bad points - Had to wait almost 4 weeks to get it when 2 was advertised, responses from scan can be slow but when they do get back to you the information is spot on. |

I am extremely happy with my 3XS system ordered and built by SCAN. Not only with the machine, which is super fast and super quite, but their service. The sheer professionalism shines through in the build, the service and communications which in my mind is second to none, also the packaging was like none I have seen before and clearly designed to ensure the system arrives in the same condition it leaves SCAN. All in all a thoroughly professional service and one which I will continue to recommend whenever possible. |

Placed order mid afternoon Friday and it arrived at 09.15 Monday.
