Posted 3 weeks ago - When I reported problems to Norton, they replaced/upgraded the software to the 2010 version and problems were eliminated. Everything works well now and I am very pleased.

Internet Security 2009

Strengths:

Scan faster with Norton Insight and take less PC resources than previous version.

Weaknesses:

Malware removal takes several computer restarts.

Posted 5 months ago - With a new scan engine based on Norton Insight which identifies trusted files to reduce scanning time, NIS 2009 runs much faster than its previous versions. The program itself is much leaner. Installation is fairly quick with no problem. Most important is that NIS 2009 is no longer a resource hog as its previous versions. NIS 2009 is efficient in detecting and removing malware. But the process of cleaning the system is a bit slow and might require several restarts to complete.
