Behringer EQ700 Graphic EQ -- a Nice Pedal at a Very Nice Price

Some noise at certain bands.
Posted May 26, 2006 - The Behringer EQ700 is a great deal at roughly $20-$30 retail. The unit provides a 7-band equalizer activated by an on/off pedal. The EQ700 has a simple, traditional interface. It's easy to use and it does the job of equalization well. I did notice some noise when certain bands were raised, specifically 3.2k, but nothing that causes a tremendous problem for me. The pedal is housed in a plastic case -- so, yes, it is breakable. The upside, however, is that this makes the unit light in weight, which one realizes is an asset after lugging gear around to a few hundred, or thousand, gigs. The EQ700 a very nice pedal at a very affordable price.
