Strengths:

Posted Oct 29, 2004 - This is one of the best kitchen appliances I could ever purchase! It's great. I can make even some recipes that I used to make in my bread machine (like pizza dough). And there are all the optional attachments for new functions. There was a strange noise while in slow speed. I called the costumer's service and they sent me a new one to my door! The new one is better, but I still think the noise is a little bit stange. Anyway, if it's normal, for me it's pretty ok. I recommend it!

Posted Jul 25, 2006 - this mixer has been more than outstanding. it can do a lot of kitchen work with plentiful attachments. it does a wonderful job to mix and make dough. Just that it makes some noises and I would have expected it to be a little bit more quieter.

Posted Feb 22, 2006 - This is a top notch quality mixer from a well known brand KitchenAid. Mixer is very solidly built and looks nice too. comes in a bunch of colors and has lots of optional attachments available. all in all a class mixer, albeit expensive.

Posted Feb 23, 2006 - This is a great machine which is up to any challenge put to it by the home cook. Powered by a hefty 325 watt motor, use this mixer to make heavy cookie dough, knead bread batter, whip potatoes, or add attachments (optional) to grind meat. Included pouring shield makes adding ingredients like flour a snap. Mixer has 10 speeds which make it suitable for any task. Included with the Kitchenaid Artisan Mixer is a dough hook, wire whip and flat beater. Mixer is available in a variety of colors and will quickly become indispensable.

Posted Jul 29, 2005 - I love this mixer, especially for the price. My mom has used this same mixer for years. I used a hand held one, but finally gave into using the stand mixer. These are VERY sturdy mixers, and very good quality. I have not yet had one break. I definitely recommend it!

Strengths:

Works great! Each attachment works wonderfully! I have used a motorized and manual handmixer in the past, and there is no going back to either after using this mixer. My mom has a Kitchenaid mixer that is 30 years old and still going strong! The only

None, other than the attachments are a little tricky to get TOTALLY clean; but you would have that with any brand of mixer attachments. If the everything is cleaned promptly after use with hot, soapy water, the cleanup isn't a big deal.

Great dependable product

Strengths:

Easy to handle and easy to clean

Noisier than the one I bought several years ago

Posted Feb 16, 2008 - This is my second Kitchenaid Artisan mixer. The last one I bought back in 2002, the motor burnt out from overuse. I use my mixer everyday. I LOVE to bake! The new mixer seems a bit noisier than the one I used to have, but it still works great. And I love the color ice.

Posted Apr 8, 2007 - This is a great investment. The 5quart bowl is very sufficient for my needs. Comes with dough, whisk, and flat attachments. I have heard Kitchen Aid stand mixer of long lasting quality. It is very heavy. They come in a whole rainbow of colors. It also operates very quietly. I would definitely recommend this.

Excellent Mixer

Strengths:

Power and versatility.

Posted Jun 30, 2006 - This is an awesome piece of equipment. It mixes wonderfully and I use it all the time for almost everything. The bowl is great and I use it even more often, even for mixing vegetables etc. I ordered it in empire red and it is just beautiful. You will not regret spending the money. It makes very short work of chocolate chip cookie dough, oatmeal raisin cookie dough, and fudge brownie mix. Throughly mixes all ingrediants, no problems with any ingrediants left on side, in bottom, etc. This machine is a cook's and baker's dream come true. I absolutely love it, and it looks good too!
