buzybee - (May 18, 2004) I have been rolling and cutting pasta the old fashioned way for more than a decade. I would mix it in a food processor, and then roll it out with a rolling pin and cut it with a pizza cutter. To make various kinds of pasta in this KitchenAid Pasta Roller Attachment is much more fun. I would mix my dough either in the stand mixer or in the bread machine, let it rest under a bowl for about 30 minutes, after that I cut it into 4 - 6 pieces, flatten it out as much as I can with my hands, sprinkle it with flour, and run it through the "wringer". A few times through at progressively thinner settings, and, voila! Perfectly rolled pasta that's tender and delicious. (The resting period i

windowsxper - (December 25, 2005) I got this model as a replacement for the earlier DSM 700, which arrived with cosmetic defects - paint chips and dings. A paint chip even popped off in front of me, while I was locating the serial number for the customer service rep. Cosmetic defects are supposed to be covered under the warranty, but the process was a nightmare. There was/is apparently only ONE authorized service center in the entire state where it was purchased. That service center was/is completely incompetent. They allowed my machine to sit in their shop for over 2 months, instead of returning it to DeLonghi. They never contacted me about my machine, and when I called them about status, they couldn't find info on my

dbn22 - (September 17, 2005) The Magic Bullet would be a wonderful product and if the company creates a set of strong, sturdy blades it will be worth buying. Wait until they do! After two weeks of use, the cross blades of our Magic Bullet were bent from frozen fruit. We know what we are doing. We used another blender for 27 years without harming the blades.

Defective Black & Decker Mixer
terryljam - (03/03/2009) We purchaced a Black & Decker Power Pro 250-Watt Mixer last fall locally and when we got it home and used it, we noticed that the slow speed selection was unusually high. We have used it in that condition until now when the mixer will not run unless it is set on the middle setting two up from the slow setting. Even though I had the original box that states it has a 1 year warranty, Black & Decker's customer service refused to help and were not concerned with customer service or their defective product. I have had good luck with Black & Decker products but after this treatment I will no longer purchase anything from Black & Decker.
Shuprachi - (01/31/2009) I would recomend Magic Bullet to all. I have been using it for 4 Years & have been extremely satisfied. However I do believe that parts & service needs to be more accessable.

virologirl - (11/18/2008) I originally went to bed bath and beyond to replace my Kitchenaid mixer's flat beater (lost my when I moved), and the associate actually sold me the wrong part (fit the larger model); he was clueless. So I returned it and bought this online. It works great, and fits like a charm. Since most everyone's mixer will come with one of these, not much to say but its perfect. Now I can make cookies for Christmas, hooray! If you want a second paddle or lost yours like me, this is the perfect part to buy (for the classic sized mixers, 4.5QT).
