grnydldy2 - (August 26, 2005) This crock pot is way too hot. Even on the lowest setting everything I cook in it is burned in 3 hours. Contacting the company did not bring me any satisfaction. They did offer to "look at it" if I shipped it back to them and including the cost of return shipping which would have cost me an additional $32.

Steve in MA - (October 17, 2005) If the Breville 800ESXL was a digital camera, it would belong in the “prosumer” category. This is a professional quality espresso machine intended for the home user that knows what a good espresso is. Not only does this machine look the part of a professional quality machine, it has the performance to match. This is the third “home” espresso machine that I’ve owned, and it is by far the best. Heavy-duty barely describes how this machine is built, yet its sleek, modern appearance and stainless steel finish is quite at home on the kitchen counter. The high pressure pump, professional quality filter basket, and swivel steam wand rival the features I’ve seen on machines costing twice

bidermant - (September 23, 2005) I told my parents to buy me this slow cooker for my birthday just because it was the most expensive slow cooker on the market so I figured it would work. Now, the first time I cooked rice in this slow cooker, I followed a slow-cooker recipe and instead of adding 1 cup of water to a cup of rice, I added 2 and cooked it on a low setting as suggested for 6-8hrs... WELL, good thing I was home because the rice was ready in 3hrs, in 3hrs, the fire department would have to turn off my slow cooker :( Even though I can return the product, I decided to give it another try. What I found is that I would not trust this product with any recipe until I tried it. So, what you have to do is bas
foodee2 - (11/22/2009) I liked this machine a lot at first, although I cannot make more than about 6 or 7 cups strong enough with the amount of coffee I like. I dislike having to clean it after each and every use -- it is a consequence of the design. There is no design mechanism to prevent the steam feeding back into the grinder basket so you must remove it and clean it after each use. The lid leaks after about 6 months of use, it sometimes leaks from the water reservoir now as well. The most irritating thing is the grinder basket gets wedged in and cannot be removed, even with thorough cleaning and applying olive oil to the mechanism. Cuisinart said that is just the way it is after a couple of years. Okay machine if you don't mind all the hassle, and just plan on replacing it as soon as the warranty expires.

Another Bad Experience with All-Clad Slow Cooker
kburt949 - (11/06/2009) I purchased the cooker in May of 2008 and used it approx. 8 or 9 times over the last 16 months until it quit working. I emailed All-Clad who replied with a list of service centers and sent the cooker off to be repaired. With S & H the cost would be approx. $130.00. My cooker is not being repaired. I agree a product that cost $179-199.00 should have a longer warranty and work longer before needing repairs.
poetrypower - (11/04/2009) I desperately need caffeine to stay awake at my boring job all day, but I am pretty lazy, so I was relying on canned colas and buying coffee from coffee shops. I got the Green Mountain coffee catalog in the mail and saw this brewer, and I thought it would be the perfect solution. It makes delicious coffee and tea. There is a huge selection of k-cups (coffees, teas, even Chai and mocha). I love the removable water tank on the machine -- I take it to the water fountain and fill it. It's so great to only have a coffee mug to wash every day instead of a big pot like on Mr. Coffee.
