The key code to activate the software came placed on a sticker on the back of the shrink wrap packaging for the disk. This is how eom discs are packaged. During the course of a busy weekend, the shrink wrap was mistakenly thrown away and disappeared via the garbage truck before I installed the software. This was not the vendors fault, it was mine, but when I called softwaremedia to ask if there was a solution, I was told that the only thing I could do was buy another copy of the software from them. They would give me a discount, but otherwise this was my only option according to them. Before buying another, I did some research on the web and discovered that a call to microsoft might help. So I called microsoft, was connected to a person quickly, and after reading her a number off the front of the cd, she gave me a working key code over the phone. Easy and Free!	Overall Rating
