Puzzle Game - PSP - MPN: 008888332992
Strengths: Great puzzle game environments
Weakness: same type or similar puzzle repeatative
This is a great game for puzzle lovers. This game is very entertaining game, it involves in rescuing the people from fire and depending on the lay out of the stage you gather items that will help drive the people to the exit goal. Some puzzles takes time to set up, but this game is very rich in strategic positions. This game is recommended for those puzzle fans and its a very fun game.

TopStrengths: Stylish graphics and enjoyable gameplay
Weakness: Control and character movement can be tedious; grating voice-overs
Exit infuses elements from great games like Prince of Persia, Lemmings, and Lost Vikings. The presentation oozes style, while the graphics test your wits and reflexes. Although the controls and character movement can cause some frustration during the more difficult levels, they won't make you break for the exit. In fact, with more than a hundred levels (including downloadable content), there's plenty here to keep you entertained for a while. Considering it can be had for less than $10, Exit is most definitely worth the entry fee.

TopStrengths: Large number of levels, A simple plot that keeps you on edge
Weakness: Controls take time to get used to
The game revolves around helping the central character alongwith civilians at times, to escape from various hazardous situations.
For a puzzle game, the graphics are quite unique & impressive. The difficulty level is spanned out really well. It starts with easy puzzles & gets a little harder with each level.
You might fail a lot initially mainly due to controls which are not really intuitive. But as you gain experience it will get better. It's a small annoyance in game that deserves accolades for being different in a genre where new & original ideas are hard to come by

TopStrengths: Great Presentation & Graphics, 100 Levels Plus More For Download.
Weakness: Trial & Error Nature of Some Puzzles
Exit is a 2D puzzle platformer game that barrows heavily from the original Prince of Persia game in how your main character controls. Each level will have you figuring out how to get out of burning buildings and helping other people get out solving puzzles along the way with platforming elements. The biggest problem with the game is that sometimes while figuring out what to do in some of the levels you will have no choice but to restart a level. For example you might move a box in order to move along but realize that you moved it to far in order to complete the level completely and will have to restart the level in order to do right what you've done wrong as you can't always undo certain wrong doings. The game itself starts out with a cool intro that shows off the original graphical style of the game. Exit has 100 levels to play though along with downloadable levels giving it plenty of levels to keep you busy.
I would highly recommend Exit to gamers like enjoyed Prince of Persia years ago or 2D puzzle platformers in general, Lost Vikings being a good example.

TopStrengths: Puzzle, graphical design,
Weakness: it gets tough
This game is a puzzle type game. It has over 100 levels. There are more levels that can be downloaded which is very nice. When you progress through the game, it will get harder and harder. There are lots of thinking. You need to find a way to get through the level. Some you need to save people and some you need to use items to go through the levels. This is one of the best puzzle games for the PSP. Pick this up if you like puzzles.

TopStrengths: Stylish artistic design, 100+ levels, easy for beginners, download ready for 110 new levels, short levels fit handheld gaming, solid music/animation
Weakness: Steep difficulty curve, trial and error game play, slow character movement, awkward controls, repeating voice clips, no co-op play
Exit provides a unique and stylish take on the puzzle genre as you lead Mr. ESC in his attempts to rescue people from a variety of natural disasters. The PSP could have used more quality titles like this earlier in its life cycle.
The first thing you'll notice in Exit is the colorful and stylish graphical treatment everything has been given. As would-be hero Mr. ESC, you must find and rescue a variety of survivors by leading them to each level's exit.
The levels start out relatively easy, and they're broken up into small chunks that work perfectly for a handheld game. By the time you're ready for the downloadable levels, the difficulty will have ramped up quite a bit, and these bonus levels more than double the overall number of stages.
Exit has already been included on a number of online "best of" lists for PSP, so if you're a puzzle genre fan, you should definitely consider picking this up. Non-genre fans may also want to consider this as it's unique style and presentation give it that added flavor a lot of puzzle games are missing.

TopStrengths: Playful graphics matches mood; breathes life to paper and pen conventional puzzler; wifi downloads
Weakness: multiplayer missing; sound quality very poor - inclusion of custom soundtracks please!!
Games that are versatile usually don't do any thing well. For the video game exit, it is the specific versatility that gives the game a heft that embodies a substance that can either suffice for a short gaming fix or a full blown dedicated hour approach. In the very least, this is one of the showcase games for the PSP platform.
Exit's main goal is to guide your avatar to an exit, similar to those mazes you used to do as a kid with your pencil. Obviously, from point A to B, there are various obstacles blocking you but unlike the 2D approach, in a move to the video screen, there are multiple approaches to each puzzle. Each solution is not static, meaning there is no singular approach that best fits all. Engaging the machinery of thought and action is the epitome of this game's ultimate goal, not so much finding the solution, but the journey there. Graphically, the puzzler has a non realistic sharp edged cartoon approach, similar to Japanese anime which works in concert with some of the mind bending puzzles. By maintaing a playfullness, the cadence of the game remains where it should be, well short of frustration but strictly plateuing on fun.
While visceral graphically, the sound falls pathetically short. There no upbeat moods that fit the nature of the game but rather a blase approach to a soundtrack as if the developer just chose the generic templates that game with his/her development tools. If the developer would choose to be that lazy, they would at least think of including the ability to play ripped songs off the memory stick but that is just wishful thinking.
However lacking acoustically, Exit takes advantage of the infrastructure ability of the PSP very well. No multiplayer but it has downloadable levels that engage you with various levels of difficulty. Like Wipeout, the free content maintains the same level of quality with the levels included in the game. It's almost like getting a director's cut of the game -- for free. One of the best and hopefully some publisher gives it another chance to bring the sequel over here again.

Strengths: Sweet graphic eye candy; many levels
Weakness: Slow by nature; clunky controls; little replay value; repetitive frustration (if you aren't very good)
I thought I liked puzzle games. "Exit" isn't the kind of puzzle game that I like.
*
There is no obsessive "just one more game" excitement that makes the heart race for a higher score in frenetic action. What you get is a countdown clock that makes you wish Mr. Esc and the Companions would move quicker, but the slow response of the controls mars the fun and dulls the pace.
*
Move a box here, jump across there, up the stairs, down the stairs, attach a rope, put out flames, etc. proves tedious.
*
Exit is a methodic thinking person's exercise in repeating and adjusting the same tasks until you find the correct sequence to get those you are supposed to rescue safely to the exit under the allotted time. And when you clear the level, there is no reason to go back again.
*
It's not a terrible game, but just not right for me.
