Action/Adventure Game - Complete Product - Standard - 1 User - PSP - MPN: 722674150057
Strengths: Graphics is just as good as the counterparts on the consoles. Tolerable music and sound effects for handheld. Good control.
Weakness: Some of details are not as clear due to small screen and too dark in some levels.
The game plays and feels are about the same as the counterparts that are available on the consoles and the graphics are about the same. But due to small screen, some of the details are not as clear. The lighting in some levels are a little too dark and might require some tweaking with the brightness. The music and sound effects sounded okay for a handheld system. The controls takes some getting used to, but it is not that bad.
Overall, this is a good PSP game, and if you like Max Payne series, Grand Theft Auto series and the likes, you probably would like this one, even for those that have not play these types of games before. You might be surprise how addicting this game is.

TopStrengths: Graphics. Gameplay . Slow motion action.
Weakness: No voices.
After playing the other 2 Dead to Rights game, I found this game to be a good candidate for my collection. The graphics are nice but there are some missing features that I miss for the series (voices). If you like the other 2 games, I would recommend this as well.

TopStrengths: graphics are good, sound is OK,slow motion bullet time
Weakness: too short and hard to control, a little bit repititive
It's a fun action game. The graphics look great, the sound is good, and overall the gameplay is alot of fun blasting enemies in a slow motion bullet time dive. But the stupid in-game camera is really annoying and ofter messes up your game, and the game is ridiculously short, I finished the first level in one day. Could have been much better.

TopStrengths: Brings the action to a portable, addictive gameplay, nice graphics
Weakness: People who didn't enjoy the console versions won't enjoy this either, no voice acting
I extremely enjoy the Dead To Rights games on the consoles and Dead To Rights: Reckoning does a very good job of bringing the series to the PSP. This is by no means a great game (none of the Dead To Rights are), but for some reason I really like the gameplay. There are lots of enemies and objects to shoot and interact with and I enjoy the targeting aiming system as it gives the game a more arcade feel. I think the game is about the right length (about 6 hours), but there's not much replay value once you beat it. There is an included multiplayer mode, but it's certainly not the strength of the game and I can't see myself ever sitting down with some friends and choosing to play this game.
Overall, though, if you enjoy the previous games in this series I recommend giving this one a shot.

TopStrengths: Excellent graphics but mediocre theme
Weakness: Not sound and monotonic
This is a fantastic game for graphics lovers. I had not expected good graphics like these. However, the fun fades after a while. Also lack of sound in the game makes it even more monotonic. For those who like shooting games, this is a must buy but if you're a person who gets bored quickly, this might not be the best choice for you.

TopStrengths: Looks almost identical to the PS2 game.
Weakness: Tough aiming, repetitive gameplay, and the camera is a real problem.
Generally, Dead to Rights: Reckoning is an average shooter. There’s little about the game that makes it stand out from others. But it still is enough for a decent handheld shooter. On the other hand, the experience is over a little too quickly and not that fulfilling in the end.

TopStrengths: good graphics and fun game
Weakness: I miss the voices
The graphics are good and it is a great game, but the aiming is hard sometimes. I have a hard time putting the game down, I could spend hours playing it!

TopStrengths: Great graphics
Weakness: no voices
This is a good game, especially for the $9.98 price. I am haveing a great time paying it. I wish that it had the voices though. But, I like it and would recommend it.

TopStrengths: Good Graphics, Easy to learn controls
Weakness: No voice acting
This game was easy to pick up and play. I was suprised by its graphics, they are very nice. I have never played this game for any other system before, but after playing this one I might pick up the other two.

TopStrengths: Decent graphics for a handheld.
Weakness: Bad Story, short game play, bad sound track, Subpar control, long loading time!
Although I did enjoy the gameplay, it is nothing like the console version. The long loading times is unacceptable even for PSP. The game is simply too short and you can beat it within 5 hours. The story is boring, but the action is decent. The slow down mode still exist in this version. It creates a Max Pain-like effect. I would only recommend this game to hardcore Dead to Rights series fans.

TopStrengths: good game good story
Weakness: a little slow paced
This was a very wanted game and I was a little disappointed it is a good filler game. The action is a little slow and I was expecting more of a violent game .This is not a stand by for gta

TopStrengths: Good concept. Decent action and a nice storyline.
Weakness: Lack of good controls, hard to aim and shoot the bad guys.
I believe this game was meant to be similar to Max Payne but fails in the controls area. If there were a better way to move/aim and shoot, the game would be awesome. I'm slightly disappointed, but if you can pick the game up cheap (which I did), then it's worth it.

TopStrengths: -One of the few action games for the PSP -Mindless shooting action -Some fun to be had here
Weakness: -Camera is impossible to control -The PSP control really isn't suitable for these types of games -Lame story
Dead to Rights is a action-shooting game for the playstation portable. While there is some fun to be had here, the game is seriously flawed. Control, camera, and graphics all seem unfinished and are severely unwieldy. The story is non-existant and the mindless shooting gets very repetitive. Overall, a very average game.

TopStrengths: Great game, good graphics, and love the aiming.
Weakness: The only thing I can complain about is that I wish someone acutally talked rather than just being able to read the words on the bottom of the screen. Game length is only 10 hours long.
I loved the orignal Dead to Rights, and had to buy this when I heared it was coming to the PSP. Glad I did, great game, the multiplayer is there for adhoc only but I still think this is a great game for any PSP fan out there. This game has all the game play as the orignal without the voice overs....which I sadly miss, but you can't get everything perfect. I could of sat down with this game for another 10 hours, but still had fun with it. It's still fun to go back after you have already beaten the game to just get higher scores. So there is lots of replay value here!

Dead to Rights has a lot of potential and presents an action genre adored by fans. It's great to see that Namco brings this title to the PSP and did a decent job on porting the graphics and controls to the handheld platform. Players will enjoy the many aspects of the gameplay including the slow-mo dive and the canine companion. The sound tracks are fitting and the sound FX is excellent!

When the PSP was released back in March it seemed as if the number of games released at launch would have been enough to keep PSP owners happy. Alas, this wasn't the case when the groans of PSP owners around the United States were heard wondering “What's next?” It seems owners of the PSP wanted another “big” title for their widescreen black & beautiful portable system. One game that was...

What Could Have Been A Better 3rd Person Action Game
Strengths: Graphics
Weakness: Bad Control, Camera Problems
Dead to Rights: Reckoning is a 3rd Person Shooter and while it looks great it needed alot of work as far as the gameplay goes. The biggest problem with the game is probably the camera which will often tend to go into a 1st person like view when it closes in if you get too close to a wall, this can be a big problem if you are being ambushed by a couple of guys coming towards you guns blazing as if you jump to the side to get out of harms way you can't see what's going on after doing so most of the time because of the camera. You use the analog nub to control your character but it doesn't work to well as it's just not sensitive enough and you end up not having as percise control as you would if you were using the analog on a PS2 control.
I would highly recommend renting Dead to Rights: Reckoning before buying to see how you handle playing the game with it's problems as being an early 3rd person shooter on the PSP it has it faults.
