Posted Aug 21, 2004 - I thought that I had an excellent desktop speaker system until I purchased the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 Speakers. They are by far the highest quality sounding desktop speakers I have heard. Amazingly crisp & clear response with definitive lows from the subwoofer. A new experience in computer audio.

Strengths:

great sound,best i have heard.

Weaknesses:

connection to sub is weak, mine i would have to wiggle for it to kick in , it broke so i have to purchase another controller,it pays to purchase a warrenty.

Posted Nov 30, 2004 - i have been into stereo's long before i was into computers and this is the best sound i have heard in years. great bass response too. gaming is another demention. table is a little crowded but sometimes you must give up somethings to obtain others, my wife just has to eat on the couch now but she doesn't mind it keeps me out of her hair.

Truly outstanding speakers after a solid year of h ...

Strengths:

Outstanding sound all around, solid bass, great highs, durable construction, easy-to-adjust sub and vol controls, handsome

Weaknesses:

Minor: Sub power switch is kind of a reach to turn the whole system off. Better would be to front mount it on a front speaker.

Posted Jan 7, 2005 - Truly outstanding speakers after a solid year of hard daily use! They sit beside my G4 iMac and serve faithfully as I crank my daily iTunes selections and they never cease to put a smile on my face. Sub woofer provides near-house thumping bass and remote speakers provide solid mids and highs. No quality defiencies noted whatsoever. Definitely worth the purchase price and highly recommended by Nutnfancy!
