wayandrs - (July 02, 2007) I couldn't believe it... a four band (world) atomic watch for around $30 (at Walmart). Compared to a Seiko that I also bought (to see what I'd like better), this thing is great. Seiko can not find a signal most of the time, the Timex is always ready. It's the way to go!

ChuckSlaght - (June 09, 2008) This is the coach's coaching watch. The expense is well worth it. I use two watches at times and even at meets for all aspects of timing: splits, stroke frequency, reaction times, underwater splits. The recall features are great for later recording of all this information. The ease to pull up and recall elements of a swim are very important to me and our swimmers. This is the best gift for a coach as a real professional coaching tool.

4 Star Review Great stopwatch for the price

gwrod - (05/20/2008) The Robic SC-507 is a great, inexpensive stopwatch that seems to be quite accurate. Over the years I have used many different stopwatches including more expensive ones. the 507 is a competant rival to these mosre expensive brands. Battery life seems to be good also. It fits very comfortably in your hand and easy to push the buttons.

5 Star Review An accurate, easy to use stopwatch

robertnixon - (05/09/2008) Robic is well-known in auto racing and yacht racing circles for building high quality timing devices. Some of Robic's high-end stopwatches have several independent timers and cost in the hundreds of dollars. I wanted something much simpler, yet still a high quality product. The Robic SC-507 EL Backlight Chrono fits the bill. It only has a single timer, but that is all many people will need. And it is simple enough to pick up and use straight away, without having to dig out the manual. Robic's stopwatches are rectangular rather than the typical squarish shape of a stopwatch. I find this rectangular shape fits very well in my hand and the larger size makes the stopwatch easier to hold. It is still very lightweight when dangling around your neck on its cord (included). The buttons are large with a positive feel to them. You could operate the unit with gloved hands. The display shows times to one thousandth of a second, which is a bit of a gimmick because timing by hand will never be that accurate. Still, you can just ignore that last digit if you think it is meaningless. The electroluminescent backlight is a nice added touch. The battery is a coin-sized CR2025 3V lithium battery, included. One year warranty. Overall, this stopwatch comes highly recommended.
