As noted by other reviewers, I as well received the message asking me to fax a photocopy of the front and back of my credit card to them. I cannot imagine a company actually requiring this. I'm guessing it's a phishing attack. (How many of their customers would have a fax machine?) Plus, the website says nothing about this procedure. Maybe this is just an easy way for them to cancel orders they do not have in stock. (I use the "shop safe" virtual web credit cards anyway... so there would be nothing to fax or send. No way am I sending a copy of my physical card to them. I would recommend others not either. Who knows where that copy will go.) |

Awful awful awful. After reading the "Placing an Order" section thoroughly, I entered all my credit card info and received order confirmation and an e-mail etc. 9 hours later, I get another automated e-mail (which I would paste in full were it not for the 1000 character limit): " ... we have had an exceptionally high rate of credit card fraud ... We realize this is an inconvenience and regret that it is a necessary element of our order process * Legible copies of the back and front of the credit card that was used for this order * A statement authorizing Superbookdeals to charge said card with the cardholder's signature Please reference you order number and fax the above documents to … If we do not receive a response to this request within one week, the order will be deleted from our system and will not be able to be recovered." Hmmm. Somehow, this 'necessary element” of their order process is nowhere to be found on their webpage. Go figure! |

I was trying to get my radiologic technology books from them. They told me the order was excepted but the next day wanted me to send a photocopy of the front and back of my credit card and a signed piece of paper saying they could use the card or else they would canel it. And they wanted it faxed I don't even have access to a long distance fax machine so that would have made it impossible as well. They already have all my info I'm not going to send them a photocopy of any credit card and I don't like them asking for it. I e-mailed them back saying to cancel my order and right now I'm just going to sit back and watch if they do or not. |

What about increasing the shipping options? USPS is good yet what about some overnight or 2-3 day options? FedEx, UPS, or whatever........My vote.......more US-based shipping options. |

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL Customer service. I ordered a book on Dec. 6th, then got an email on Dec. 16th (ten days later) that my order was just shipped out. I was infuriated because they use media mail which is not trackable so I had no idea when my book was going to arrive. I asked them why it had taken so long to ship out my order. Their reply was media mail takes up to 2 weeks and is not trackable. That was not what i was asking. So i repeated my question making it very clear that I was questioning the order processing time NOT the shipping time. I got the same answer. So after asking the same question 3 times, they finally told me that it sometimes takes 7 days to get the book from their supplier. Why is that information not disclosed to the buyer?? If its going to take them that long to get the book, they should let the buyer know in advance. Absolutely ridiculous. Horrible and ineffective customer service. I felt like i was emailing someone in a foreign country. |

After ordering a technical chemistry textbook for my PhD dissertation, I was told that I would have to fax a copy of my credit card since I live in Japan. I told them that I don't have access to a fax but can scan in the credit card and email the PDF since that is essentially the same thing. Not only did they refuse but the customer service was completely obnoxious. I will never order books with them again. It was a waste of my time and I still have to go and find the book somewhere else. I should have been warned by the other poor ratings on this website before I wasted my time with them. |

Everything was fast and easy. Being from Hawaii it is important for us to know what type of USPS shipment is being used. If it is media mail it usually takes 2 months to receive an item, where if it is first class it will be only 3-4 days, its just nice to know which its going to be. Other than that great website. |

Incredibly awful service. I ordered my book 6 weeks ago and still have not received it only to find out 4 weeks after I ordered it their inventory was wrong and I've yet to receive a product of a refund. NEVER USE THEM. I have 7 emails between me and this organization, all saying a generic thank you for your business when I was asking when I will receive my refund. DO NOT USE. |

do not have enough experience with this company to give a true evaluation. However the filling out of the checkout form was time consuming as when you made a mistake and went back you had to check the entire form because there were a number of deletions not just the mistake. |
