Posted Jul 31, 2006 - This has to be one of the best surge protection and filtering devices available to consumers at such a reasonable price. The online description provided by Belkin, although impressive, does not do it justice. This is a very well designed product with outstanding technical specifications. It has multiple MOVs, iron chokes, high-frequency capacitors, secondary fuses, and other stuff that translates into superior filtering and surge protection. After seeing the construction of this device, I would be very surprised to see anything else of the same quality from a competitor at a similar price.

Well built

Posted Jul 30, 2006 - It's nice that this has a 12 foot cord, 10 outlets, coax and phone protection. It works well for a home theater PC set-up. It seems to be built very well and has a nice solid feel to it. Appears to do everything you would want in a surge protector. If you need more, move up to a UPS but you probably won't find a UPS with a 12 foot cord.
