Full duty power strip..

Posted Oct 31, 2007 - I don\'t normally purchase just a power strip...instead prefer to get a UPS. But there was a good sale on this item...and to have 10 outlets is great. Reviews were good about the quality of the power...so I went ahead and got it.

Great Deal (so far)

Posted Oct 28, 2007 - Was running this product for several months without any problems. There was a really good deal with nice discount through don't-remember-who-exactly.com - so the device definitely costs the money paid. Belkin did a really good job.

It's a joule of a surge protector!

Posted Oct 22, 2007 - Wish this type came with some battery backup for 15 minutes to cover brown-outs and save settings. Had to jump up to the Belkin PurAV - AP30800fc10-BLK at 3X+ the price to obtain this feature, but haven't received shipment yet to rate product.

Great value for the price!!!

Posted Sep 11, 2007 - Got this for a great deal using pricgrabber. It's protecting my 60" DLP, reciever, DVD, PS3 and subwoofer. It has more than enough outlets that are spaced out so that square transformer plugs don't waste any of the 10 outlets...Did I mention 10 OUTLETS!!!

Belkin PureAV Isolator review

Posted Aug 16, 2007 - Got this for 25$ after rebates, great value for a fantastic product. Sleek brushed aluminium look with nice cord management wrapping around itself. It has 10 spaced out outlets which means you can actually use 10 big adapters without loosing the nearby outlets. But then it translates into a big size for it, which I am ok with. Best of all, it has 4720 joule protection which should be more than enough for most surges(Hope it doesn't meet any). Very happy with this purchase.

Belkin PureAV Isolator

Posted Aug 2, 2007 - great value for the price. I immediately hooked this up to my Plasma setup, and so far so good. 4720 Joules protectionis absolutely plenty and more! Long cord makes hiding unit easy. My TV used to flicker when I turned the lamp in the same room, and it actually stopped using this unit.

Excellent Buy

Posted Jul 29, 2007 - I got a good deal on this unit, but after using it, would be willing to even pay more. My Panasonic 50" Plasma, DVR, AppleTV, DVD, and Tuner are all connected with room for many more additions. Filters power which seems to have cleared up an occasional interference problem I was having on DVDs from time to time. We had a pretty violent thunderstorm last night, but I didn't run to unplug my valuable equipment knowing this Belkin was protecting them. It worked flawlessly, even as the lights in the house dimmed a bit. Two things that are not obvious online but are welcome additions: 1. The cord for the Isolator/Surge Protector is quite long, but the unit itself contains grooves so it can easily be wrapped and stowed safely around itself for shorter cord requirements. 2. Unit also comes with easy label tags for the electrical cords and wires for your home theatre. When you have more than a few components, its nice to be able to label the wires, especially when the other end is hidden in the wall or home theatre furniture.

Just as good as Monster

Posted Jul 22, 2007 - First thing you notice about this surge protector is the weight. It's solidly built with a nice brushed aluminum look. I have an old Monster HTS2000 and this Belkin is just as good if not better. The Belkin actually feels heavier and better built and I probably paid at least 2X as much. I love that it comes with a 12ft cord and that it's a right angle plug for those tight home theater setups. It even comes with labels for each of the components too. All in all, it was definitely a steal for $32 shipped from buy.com. I highly recommend this surge protector.

Good Quality Surge Protector

Posted Jun 21, 2007 - This Pure AV surge protector obviously improved our tv picture quality. It has very good finish and stylishness for not a very high price. it is comparable to the highend isolators.great product with solid metal finish and great performance for the price.

I like this outlet

Posted Jun 10, 2007 - I bought this power outlet to protect my new HDTV LCD television and Playstation 3. I looked around and like the specs (protects up 4720 joules) and a great warranty on damaged items ($300,000). It's really sturdy and heavy and look like it can really take a hit. It was quite reasonable in price. It looked like a great bang for the buck. I ran my cable through it and the picture is a lot clearer. I have regular cable, not digital cable or satellite, and it really cleaned up the picture for me. I also have the confidence of surge protection through the cable line. I liked this purchase, and would recommend this powerhouse to anyone looking for a good, sturdy surge protector.

Good for home theater components

Posted Sep 23, 2006 - I like this device, and it serves it's purpose. The only negative is that there is an input on the surge protector for a cable tv antenna. When I put the antenna from the wall to the surge protector, and then from the surge protector to the cable box, the on demand services did not work on my television. Everything else worked though.

Belkin Surge Protector

Posted Jul 31, 2006 - This has to be one of the best surge protection and filtering devices available to consumers at such a reasonable price. The online description provided by Belkin, although impressive, does not do it justice. This is a very well designed product with outstanding technical specifications. It has multiple MOVs, iron chokes, high-frequency capacitors, secondary fuses, and other stuff that translates into superior filtering and surge protection. After seeing the construction of this device, I would be very surprised to see anything else of the same quality from a competitor at a similar price.
