DGS1008d problem communicating wth dlink 707p

Posted Aug 2, 2006 - [11:23 AM] IT-eec-apps: Hello guys , I bought 3 dgs-1008d lately.. and i had problems connecting to the router. my connections were : DSL modem -> DGS-1008d switch ( had 4 static public ip's ) -> ( 1 public ip )for 707p router -> 2 DGS-1008d switch.. The first switch works fine.. but the computers behind the 2 DGS1008d seems not getting any ip from the router 707p ?!? but if i connect the pc directly to the router it worked perfectly... what seems to be the problem connect the DGS-1008d to the 707p router?!? DGS1008d is auto MDi/mdix .. so straight cable should be fine ryt ? please help ....
