Very good middle range workstation
88 weighted keys with initial and after touch; color screen; tons of controls, voices, arpeggios, connections, settings, editing functions; edit software; good performance functions
Bad screen view angle; small screen; not touch screen; acoustic sounds not as good as Tyros 2's; documents not so clear
Posted Sep 6, 2007 - This is a good middle range workstation with lots of controls, for examples: 8 sliders, 8 knobs, a pitch wheel, a modulation wheel, a ribbon controler, etc. Over 1000 voices, you can play them in different ways, such as solo, multi-splits, multi-layers, accompany with over 6000 arpeggios, parttens, effects, etc. Lots of edit and recording functions make you can design youselves arpeggios, partens, sounds combining with its software. The main weak points are: 1. the screen view angle is very bad and the screen angle can't be adjusted (I like Korg M3's style); 2. the screen is little small, same information can't be easy read; 3. the screen is untouchable (I perfer Korg OASYS with a big, bright, touchable and adjustable screen); 4. its acoustic sounds aren't as good as Yamaha Tyros 2's.
