Kurzweil KME61-A fantastic introduction to the Kurzweil sound!

Strengths:

This keyboard is an amazing value.The electric piano sounds are stellar.

Weaknesses:

The KME61 only has 32 note polyphonic capability-plenty for me, but others might find it limiting.

Posted Jul 25, 2007 - I was stunned when I unpacked the Kurzweil KME61 today.This is a totally professional keyboard housed in a rugged built-to-last metal enclosure.Everything about the unit is first class and unlike many keyboards in its price range the majority of the sounds are inspiring and usable.For example,there is a patch called "Virtuoso Lead" that is so good that it would be worth the price of the keyboard for this sound alone.The effects are excellent as well and can be applied to any of the 256 sounds and saved as "user" patches.This is the Kurzweil sound, this model is becoming hard to find online, but at the price I paid it is a steal!
