Partitioning is as easy as 1-2-3!

Strengths:

(1) Very nice interface (2) Partitioning is very FAST!

Weaknesses:

(1) I lost 70MB space in a newly partitioned drive. (2) My C drive where my OS is stored got fragmented.

Posted May 31, 2007 - It is probably best to use this software before you install many applications. I partitioned my 100gb primary drive (Windows XP) after some use of my laptop. Since I had already many applications installed and didn't want to bother reinstalling them, I just partitioned my old C drive. It did the job as being advertised. Partitioning was very easy. I don't know what kind of impact fragmentation of files will do to the performance of my laptop. But it bothers me a bit. Defrag does not completely fix it.

Capable Disk Management Tool

Strengths:

Good Interface; quick

Weaknesses:

None

Posted 1 year ago - Needed a tool to replace old Drive Image series (taken over by Symantec). This does it. It has all tools for imaging, copying, moving etc. that you might need with a decent graphical interface. It does the job well without any problems.

Wroks as Described

Strengths:

Easy to use, gets the job done

Weaknesses:

None

Posted May 2, 2008 - I was upgrading from an old version of Partion Magic 8.0. This sees to have a better interface. I was using with Windows XP to copy a partition onto a new drive and it worked fine.
