PartitionMagic has become Norton PartitionMagic
Adds & resizes partitions onto HDDs that are not empty
Pricey (without rebates)
Posted Aug 2, 2006 - Since Symantec has acquired the PowerQuest PartitionMagic, the software has become Norton PartitionMagic which is what I have got. The software does exactly what it's supposed to do -- add and resize partitions on a HDD that is not blank and has got existing partitions. It's an essential tool if you would like to avoid backing up and reinstalling your operating system when you want to add a secondary OS to your computer or when you simply want to reorganize your gargantuan HDD to suit your needs better. But beware, the bigger the HDD, or the smaller the free space, the longer it's going to take.
