mrwsm - (December 05, 2005) I own several space heaters all different types but I went to Walmart because I wanted to try another different one. One good thing about Walmart is they have working models. So I tried every single one they had and compared. I almost didn't buy it because the package detail didn't specifically state that you can change the watts to 750 or 1500, but you can. When you turn the thermostat all the way to the left it continually runs at 750 watts, when you turn it all the way to the right it runs continually at 1500 watts, in the middle it will cycle back and forth. Well the Lasko RS3000 put out more heat than any other heater I tried. Some sites say there is no difference that they are al

Anonymous - (August 06, 2006) Hunter Model 44360 sells on internet for $35 and at Lowes for $49. Lowes customer service matched the price - 10%. Allow yourself an hour to replace old thermostat with this new one. Wiring is easy Red to Red, Green to Green, White to White and Blue (Confusing) goes to remaining 4th tab for 4 wire connection per diagram. I used this strategy and new unit is working fine. Please turn of main power switch to A/C from fuse box. Turning off main power to A/C unit does not turn of fan. Highly recommended to turn of fan switch at furnace. I like the location of the battery, no more cover to remove. Top flip has instruction for future use. Keep instruction booklet handy until you famil

Krym - (May 14, 2006) This is a great cooler for the price. The tank is spacious, and a full tank can run for about a week (so just as a humidifier, without ice). The fan is quiet on the low setting, we could hardly hear it over our air filter. The only drawback I have is that the beeps when you press the buttons on the console are quite loud, and annoying. Especially when we turn the unit off and on, we have to reset it to the settings we like (low speed, swinging fan, cool air) - too many beeps each time!

kai0425 - (09/06/2008) BASICALLY, IT WORKS REALLY WELL. ALTHOUGH IT WORKS A LITTLE LOUDLY, IT HAS STROUNG POWER. SINCE IT IS QUIET SMALL, I CAN NOT REQUIRE TOO MUCH FROM IT.
usalian - (09/02/2008) I really liked this fan I bought on sale from walgreens. The fan looks very stylish and also has a remote. It has a ionizer too (but I cant tell the difference when I put it on). The fan is quite powerful as compared to my other tower fan (holmes). It has a timer which I find it very convenient.

Nice idea, poor motor already failed.
mj95cobra - (08/29/2008) I put this in the corner of my small home office and only ran it on low. After about 25 hours of use I noticed a small knocking noise that would come and go, progressively getting worse until I could no longer tolerate the noise and it could be heard over my phone conversations. I contacted Lasko support and was told they don't carry parts for it and "sorry for the inconvenience". This means I paid about $3/hour for its use and its no good. I'm a pretty good mechanic and had no trouble disassembling the unit and found the motor shaft rotated through a bearing that is already worn out. I'll probably figure a way to fix it but this should have never happened and I have researched the net to find out this is a common problem with this model. Shame on Lasko for not taking responsibility.
