doctap - (March 05, 2006) The misting fan works just as the manufactor promised and provided a low cost alterntive to a complete misting system and all the attendant maintence problems with hard to reach nozzles and area dead zones. Friends and neighbors have already expressed an interest in purchasing their own.

5 Star Review Best space heater yet.

mrwsm - (December 05, 2005) I own several space heaters all different types but I went to Walmart because I wanted to try another different one. One good thing about Walmart is they have working models. So I tried every single one they had and compared. I almost didn't buy it because the package detail didn't specifically state that you can change the watts to 750 or 1500, but you can. When you turn the thermostat all the way to the left it continually runs at 750 watts, when you turn it all the way to the right it runs continually at 1500 watts, in the middle it will cycle back and forth. Well the Lasko RS3000 put out more heat than any other heater I tried. Some sites say there is no difference that they are al

Anonymous - (August 06, 2006) Hunter Model 44360 sells on internet for $35 and at Lowes for $49. Lowes customer service matched the price - 10%. Allow yourself an hour to replace old thermostat with this new one. Wiring is easy Red to Red, Green to Green, White to White and Blue (Confusing) goes to remaining 4th tab for 4 wire connection per diagram. I used this strategy and new unit is working fine. Please turn of main power switch to A/C from fuse box. Turning off main power to A/C unit does not turn of fan. Highly recommended to turn of fan switch at furnace. I like the location of the battery, no more cover to remove. Top flip has instruction for future use. Keep instruction booklet handy until you famil

5 Star Review Incredible Manufacturer Support: Great Product

SteveDenver - (12/19/2008) After 4 years of use around the clock, almost every day, my fan finally broke. I ordered another right away. I took apart the fan to wash away dust and grease (this was in my kitchen window) and lost the lock washer for the propeller. Lasko sent me three replacements FREE. Then about a year ago, the plastic propeller broke. It was $8 plus $7 shipping. Amazing! I really like this company and this has been a great product that I found by chance at Ace Hardware. I live in a 110-year-old hotel converted into small apartments. We're allowed to have one small air conditioner. This fan sucked out the hot air so my rooms could fill with chilled air. Two of my neighbors also bought this fan and love it. In the winter, I used to smoke in front of the fan so it would be pulled out. Even though I don't smoke anymore, this fan is great for pulling out odors from cooking year 'round. My apartment never smells like onions, fish, pinto beans, or brownies... all of which smell wonderful when fresh, but not so lovely after a few days. There is a comparable Air King product that costs 3-4 times as much. I looked it over and other than a metal propeller, there isn't much difference. I'm stickin' with Lasko.

1 Star Review An expensive piece of utter crap

VladimirUschintsky - (12/10/2008) Bought this prior to doing an extensive bathroom remodel. Wanted a combo fan/light/nightlight that was very quiet yet would move a lot of air. It does do that. HOWEVER... When the main light is first turned on it is darker than the nightlight! It doesn't become bright enough to be useful until 5-10 minutes later. I first tried replacing the bulb at my own expense with no improvement in performance. I then contacted Broan and told them about the problems and they sent me a new ballast. That's really about the only two electrical things that can go wrong with a florescent light - the bulb or the ballast. Installed the new ballast and still no improvement in performance. Contacted Broan again and got some line of crap about this being the best that can be expected because of energy requirement in California (we live in Georgia). If you're willing to turn on the bathroom light five or ten minutes before you need to actually use the bathroom you might be satisfied with this unit. Otherwise stay far away from this piece of crap. Broan wouldn't accept a return, so I bought a different light to use as the main bathroom light and will be moving this unit to directly over the shower (be sure to use a GFCI circuit if you do this). That way I can at least keep the usefulness of the nightlight and fan and if I have the patience and the need I can have a light over the shower. What a waste of a lot of money. I can't believe a company like Broan would turn out a product as bad as this.
