Ordered a product listed "in stock", quoted my client, then was phoned by this vendor that product was not available. Offered me a compatible but lesser product, but my client declined. To vendor's credit, they did not charge me and force me to have to go through getting a credit. techsoftronics's Response: Their was no bait and switch here. We fell out of stock-and called the client immediately. We did "not" offer a lesser product or version but gave the customer some other options and he declined. However, their support people responded immediately and had put the Mac version in the mail before I even sent back the Windows version. I had to cross-ship to another customer to correct. techsoftronics's Response: We made a shipping error and we did apologize to the customer- He received a product at the best price he could get on the internet. I ordered the FULL RETAIL version of Quickbooks Pro 2007 (part 299116)but they sent me an ACADEMIC version (part 308695). The box was opened from the bottom, and they scratched off "academic version" from the CD. The box was then resealed on the bottom. I had no idea it was opened before. I called Quickbooks to ask, and they verified it is NOT the retail version. I called techsoftronics but nobody returned my phone call. -5 stars IMO. techsoftronics's Response: Customer was mistakenly sent the wrong version- Hence the harsh review we called the cust. back within 24 hrs and are arranging an exchange for the item - and we are sending a return label to have the item shipped back today. Customer asks for another product as exchange- but states does not want to do business in the review??	Overall Rating

Similar to another customer review, the software was tampered with and the CD part number does not match the box. Also, the bottom of the box was previously opened. Finally, I'm most concerned about the text on the CD that was removed to hide the version. I suspect this vendor is not selling the true product as described. They made me whole by reducing the price to that of the "education" version. BEWARE! techsoftronics's Response: WE WERE NEVER NOTIFIED OF ANY ISSUE SO HOW IS IT THAT CUSTOMER WANTS TO KEEP RPODUCT AND NEVER SENT US AN EMAIL OF THIS ISSUE? WE WOULD OF GLADLY EXCHANGED ITEM. THe vendor used PayPal which sent an E-Check and the vendor waited for it to clear. Only then did they notice that I had asked it to be shipped to a different address than the one PayPal said was "confirmed". THey would not ship to a USPS PO Box. THey called after the e-check had cleared and told me they'd only ship it to a "confirmed" address. That problem may be with PayPal. But the vendor asked me for a credit cardnumber and I gave them two. One, a DIscover card, had a billing address the same as the shipping address. TUrned out they don't take Discover. THey called back. I gave them a MasterCard number with a different billing address. I still am not sure why I haven't gotten the package. FOr the Christmas gift, we gave the young lady a "gift certificate" or IOU for the software program. I honestly cannot recommend that anyone who would like to receive their merchandise in timely fashion deal with this vendor using PayPal. THey will NOT ship to a PO Box with a different address than the billing address on the card. My review must be at best neutral until I receive the merchandise, for which I am still waiting more than two weeks later. James E. Carroll techsoftronics's Response: Customer had unconfirmed Pay Pal address, paid via echeck- takes a week to clear. Resubmitted according to customer request did not want to wait for echeck to clear an needed faster ship. Request via credit card direct and shipped item on the 18th. Item was recieved 12-26-06 USPS priority. Address was to a different state and not registered with credit card company and we called to verify alternate ship to address to protect customer from internet fraud during holidays.	Overall Rating

They sent me a bogus USPS number for a package they sent to Michigan, not Maryland (I suppose they both start with M). It could be that they are just incompetent. Although they say they will refund my money, I'm taking no chances. I cancelled my credit card payment. techsoftronics's Response: Item was sent- we are checking this issue with the post office and told the customer to check to see if they left a notice on an attempt to delivery if customer was not there to accept poduct. Contacted on the 8th to advise me they were out of stock and could they send me a bundle version instead (old version plus ugrade cd which was fine). Haven't heard anything after that (15 days without any contact...) Update on previous review. They did contact me after receiving my status email with the message below. "I will check with the shipper-Due to the holiday if we have not shipped this as of yet-We will ship it out Saturday or Monday asap. I tought this was shipped-and I cannot check until Friday as offfices are closed for the holidays till then." Another update: Product arrived on Thursday, Nov 30th. I've updated the rating to reflect the product arrived as advertised. The shipping time was the only negative I can come up with so I couldn't give them a 5.	Overall Rating

They called to tell me what they were doing. They sent an older version of PhotoShop to use as the registered version and the new version for upgrading it $420 for PhotoShop CS2 is a deal no mater how you look at it.
