Easy to use, good as a toaster, convection oven, easy to clean.
Large, toasting takes a while, expensive.
Posted Jul 2, 2004 - This toaster replaced an old Sears model which had stopped toasting to give you some idea of what I am comparing it to. We have found this item to do a great job at toasting - both with frozen and fresh bread. It shows you a timer for how long the toast will take depending on your settings and these times can range up to 6 full minutes (4-6 slices, frozen at the darkest setting). As an oven, we have found it more difficult to use. It's great at reheating things but seems too small to really use as a replacement for much of what we do in the regular oven (e.g. baking). The controls are easy and intuitive and thus far it has held up well. Overall, it functions well as a toaster and occasional reheater - I'm not sure that we had to spend> $100 for those functions though.
