mrsleuth - (August 15, 2005) I was looking for a good old-fashioned toaster that wouldn't take up a lot of counter space. Ratings had indicated that this was a solid candidate. I received the toaster about 5 days ago, and it has performed very well in toasting bread and english muffins. I am enjoying the ease of use of this product.

Tyjeet - (June 18, 2004) I had been looking for this particular product for about a month. I finally found it online at a very reasonable price. This particular toaster is one that my friends and family have enjoyed for years and I am very pleased with it's performance. It works as well as the higher priced models but won't break your wallet. I would strongly recommend purchasing one.

1 Star Review RT400 Retro Four Slice Toaster

Johnoboy - (November 09, 2003) I've had this 4 slice toaster for a year now and I have to admit I rarely put it to use. I must confess I purchased it on an impulse because of it's appealing retro design and not based on it's performance. Unfortunately like everything else these days it's manufactured in China and assembled with cheap parts. If you peek inside during operation the heating elements appear thin and fragile and refuse to burn with enough intensity nor in an evenly fashion to adequately brown toast within a reasonable period of time. Also, considering the lackluster power from the heating elements, the extra wide toasting slots tend to contribute to it's sluggish toasting performance by inefficiently all

5 Star Review Breville Lightning Toaster - Brilliant!

SandyWin - (09/03/2009) There are cheaper toasters and more expensive ones. Had a very cheap one before and always suffered from burned toast. This one can be used for variable width bread and has got a setting from 1 to 9, so whether you want to toast tea cakes (burn very quickly), toast or crumpets, you always get the result you want. The 1-9 settings light up, so whilst the toaster is on, you can see exactly how long it will approx take for the toast etc. to pop up. It has also got a warming rack that can be popped up to warm up things such as buns, cake and even doughnuts! Finally, we have had this toaster for at least 5 years and it is still working ok. If it would faulter, I would buy the same toaster without hesitation.

5 Star Review Wonderful Kitchen Aid Toaster - One of the best I have had

mmprice56 - (05/25/2009) I love this toaster - I have it in white and use it daily. I love the digital toasting setting and the range of toasting. No complaints at all. I would definitely recommend. It is a large toaster, but I like that.

1 Star Review d04000

lang8284 - (04/21/2009) we purchased our original toaster oven and found that we were burning out toast at the lovest setting. returned the unit under ref #4309453. Received a new one in a few days. We are still having the same problem. The unit is rated for 4 slices of toast. We are using just 2 at a time. I would not recomend this unit. I will call the company again. If they can't help me then it goes in the garbage.
