A workable substitute for the original. However I do not have the feeling of confidence it will last as long as my originall which has given outstanding service over the last three years. I would not recommend purchase of this product to a friend.

Great tripod
Strengths: Remote control handle Stable, balanced High quality

Unlike most tripods, this utilizes the same technology expected under most professional conditions. To avoid any camera shake or vibration, the handle provides the basic controls you need. A solid performer, but shop around as you will that the price varies a great deal between camera stores. Many will sell this accessory at a premium since it is often bundled along with expensive equipment priced as a loss leader.
