Canon Custom Tripod 200

Strengths: Easy to use, low price, free carrying case, great color, sturdy, good construction materials

Weakness: none found yet -- wondering about plastic leg snaps

A very well made sturdy tripod. Using with Canon EOS 35mm and telephoto lens. I looked at a number of tripods around the same price range and higher. This one seemed the best for me. Not a power user and could not justify spending large sums of money for top-of-line tripod. I think this is a great tripod for the money when comparing all the other tripods in this price range.

Canon Custom Tripod 200

Strengths: Well-constructed, light-weight, easy-to-use, nice price. Excellent for home photography and your simple photography trip.

Weakness: Be careful with the plastic clips and locks. This is not a tripod for rough and heavy use.

This is a very nice and portable tripod for the amateur photographer. It is well-constructed and easy-to-use. The 3-way panhead will serve an amateur well both at home as well as out-door. However, because of its light-construction, it is not sutibale for rough and heavy use. Be careful with the plastic clips and locks. Still, with care, this tripod will do well even if you go somewhere off the beaten track. Given its price, it is good value for money.

Canon Custom Tripod 200

Strengths: low price, free carrying case, lovely color, quick release, easy handle

Weakness: not stable enough at highest position

Use this stuff for a while, it is very good for me. I used it for my Nikon Coolpix 5700, and took very high quality photos. Also I use it for my old Seagull DF300 35mm SLR professional camera (much heavy), it was stable under 50 inches height. Much better than the similar Sunpak one sold in Best Buy. The sharp color and shape is attractive. very light for travel, free case for carrying.

Canon Custom Tripod 200

Strengths: Ease of use, lightweight, carrying case, great buy for the price. Perfect for moms and photos of the kids.

Weakness: Plastic clamps, avoid extremely cold weather.

I bought this for two specific reasons and I am glad I did. The tripod preformed great and I have used it multiple times. It came it great for getting a picture of all 4 of my kids for the Christmas cards and on Christmas Day for getting the family picture with everyone in it. Preforms well if you have a remote control option on your camera.

An overall good tripod

Strengths: light-weight, smooth and easy to handle, well constructed

Weakness: not stable enough at highest position and there is no hook to hang on some heavy item; the carry case is not very useful

This is a nice and easy for travel tripod, but definitely not a professional one. The color is not black as what I expected. It is stable when I mount my E300 at normal height. But not enough at the highest positon. Plastic body makes it fragile, but this is the tradeoff for light-weight. The tripod is well-constructed as other cannon products. Made in China and designed in Japan.
There is a very simple manual (some figures) on the ship box.

Canon Custom Tripod 200

Strengths: 1. the three level extension 2. level indicator to know if the three legs are in a flat surface 3. versatility for handling both digital and SLR cameras

Weakness: 1. the plastic clips are flimsy 2. could not spot a manual in the package that arrived

This is the perfect choice for canon fans. The colour is lovely. Since the plastic clips are flimsy, they need to be handled "very carefully". For first time tripod users, a manual may be helpful but there is no manual. I have used in only indoors and its been great for family pictures with everyone in there. It made a perfect gift for my husband. I will recommend this tripod.

Canon Custom Tripod 200

Strengths: intuitive design, good looking, small, light weight, quick release, good material used for the legs, and the price.

Weakness: so so plastic head, not-so-smooth movement, not stable at the highest position.

This is a entry-level tripod for those who takes photos in a normal way using a compact camera. It is certainly a value buy for this price. I use this for a Nikon 5700. Easy to carry around and set up (quick release is a big plus). Downside for this light-weight, low-priced tripod is that it is not suitable for SLRs with heavy lenses.

Canon Custom Tripod 200

Strengths: Simple, easy to use, with durability form, light to carry.

Weakness: None

I like this tripod better my previous tripod, because the snapper at the legs seem to work better. This one seemed much stronger to handle well around with my equipment. It work great with my other canon products.

Canon Custom Tripod 200

Strengths: With a carry case. Easy setup and breakdown. Very light.

Weakness: The length of case band can't adjust. Not very smooth.

This my second tripod, better than my Kodak. Overall, it's a decent portability-focused tripod, for use when you just want to run out, easy setup and shoot. In that sense, it serves as a decent second or third tripod, but definitely not a primary. It's in black, can fit with my Canon 20D.

Robust enough but not light enough.

Strengths: easy to setup and breakdown

Weakness: Not light enough to carry in your day-backpack.

I like it for the pros and my wife desn't because of the cons. She says it is too heavy to carry though the day in a backpack.
I think too light is also too riasky for your camera. Still, I too didn't expect it to be this heavy. Good tripod, just not the type you carry with you as backpackers!!
