cvn74rmo - (September 18, 2005) The silent brass system was very easy to set up; the box stated all you had to do was plug the thing in, a claim it kept. Barely audible to those in the same room when using the system, it allows instrument practice in a family home without disturbing those around you. The sound resembles playing with a mute through the headphones because of the way the system works, but you can make it as loud as you want with the volume control. The echo feature is kind of nice too, it alleviates that muted sound a little bit.

ellenblack - (April 02, 2006) I don't think anyone would be dissapointed in this trumpet. It really rates up there with the Stomvi and Bach Strad, but doesn't get the attention or credit it deserves. Both of mine had better fit & finish than the Bach.

5 Star Review Schilke B7

Puukka - (December 18, 2006) Has a well centered and bright sound, easy to play in all registers. The resistance is even at whole range, nice for soloing. The high register works better with me at the B7 than at the B1 or B5. One of the best Schilke models beside the X3. I can recommend it for all kind of playing, if you like the clean and bright sound.

5 Star Review A perfect mixture

Puukka - (04/22/2008) I´ve tested the whole Kanstul range and this is my favorite. It´s not heavy and it´s not too lightweighted. The regular body makes the good slotting and core of the sound, the lightweight bell makes the sizzle, It has a bright centered sound and the playing feel is not too tight and not too open. A brigt sounding allrounder, suitig nicely for lead. If you are looking for a darker sound, you could try the Kanstul 1503 or a regular weighted Bach.

5 Star Review Kanstul 1503

Puukka - (04/02/2007) It has a strong, relatively bright sound (silver plated version) with a comfortable high register. An allrounder suiting all kind of music. Very good manufacturing quality, as I´m used to see at Kanstul horns.

5 Star Review Burbank 5*

Puukka - (12/18/2006) It´s an easy to blow full and bright sounding trumpet. Offers less resistance, so the upper range don´t get tight. A perfect instrument for Jazz, Blues,... wouldn´t use it for classic because it´s broad sound. It response so fast you´ll need a lot of control but on the other side your endurance increases. Nice Benge Vintage look.
